Truly Trumpian: Noem Flips Dems' Attacks Against Her As 'Endorsement'

Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem brilliantly flipped several Democrats' attacks against her as an "endorsement," and her response sounded like a classic comment her boss, President Donald Trump, would make.

During a House Homeland Security Committee hearing on Thursday, Dems took turns trying to tear apart Noem for doing the job Americans hired President Trump and his administration to do, which is to make our country safer and rid it of illegal alien criminals.

In the opening statement from Democrat Rep. Bennie Thompson (MS-2), he claimed the DHS head had "systematically dismantled the Department of Homeland Security, put your own interests above the department, and violated the law." He then called on Noem to resign.

Noem's opening remarks hit back against critics and contained the following:

"DHS is eradicating transnational organized crime and the stopping of deadly drugs from continuing to be funneled into our communities," Noem said. "We're ending illegal immigration, returning sanity back to our immigration system, and we're defending against cyberattacks against our critical infrastructure."

However, it was when Democrat Rep. Shri Thanedar (MI-13) tried to come for Sec. Noem, calling her a liar and more, that she truly shone, flipping the Congressman's attack on its head.

"America is very happy that, finally, they have a president in the White House that gets up every day to keep them safe," Noem said, but Thanedar then called on her to resign.

"I will consider your asking me to resign as an endorsement of my work," she added.

A post from the DHS included the fire clip of Noem and added a bit more to put the final nail in her point.

Legacy Media Blasted by White House Over "Fake News" About Cabinet Shakeup

Both Democrat Congressmen invoked speculation we've seen over the last few weeks that Noem's getting the boot from President Trump in the new year, something the White House has shot down several times, as RedState reported.

In a post on Monday on X, White House Deputy Press Secretary Abigail Jackson shut down an MS NOW report alleging that a White House official told them Noem is on "very thin ice" with Trump.

"As I told MS Now when they reached out, this is all fake news," Jackson wrote on X. "Secretary Noem is doing a great job implementing the President's agenda and making America safe again."

In a statement to Fox News, Jackson added:

Everything about this is total Fake News. Secretary Noem is doing a great job implementing the President's agenda and making America safe again. MS Now continues to beclown themselves by inventing narratives that simply are not true.

DHS Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin also shut down the claim, telling the outlet, "I can't speak for the President, but I've seen more credible reporting on Big Foot."

Clearly, Noem has been relentless in following Trump's agenda to rid our country of the massive influx of illegal aliens that occurred during former President Joe Biden's term. Good!
