The White House weighed in on video of the latest anti-ICE protests coming out of Portland and the "cringeworthy" retro-80s protestors who donned neon leotards, tights, and capes while they danced to Billy Joel hits.
In a clip that surfaced on Friday on Instagram from Fox News, a very small group of maybe a dozen wanna be jazzer-sizers held an 80s-themed workout class outside an ICE detention facility in Portland. I mean, you can't even make this stuff up; it's just so bad.

They attempted to do what looked like dance moves and stretches while Billy Joel's hit "We Didn't Start the Fire" played over a loudspeaker. Some even attempted to hold up signs about stopping ICE. But honestly, the clothes and dancing were so distracting that one could barely even notice their signs.
At times, they almost looked in sync as they slid one way and then the other, doing what looked like the electric slide, and then something would happen, and they were all over the place.
Of course, we are not sure exactly what all this has to do with being against the Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents who are doing their job and literally taking illegal criminals off our streets and making it safer.
White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt shared the ridiculous video on X and reacted to it.
"The cringeworthy and out of touch Democrats *really* want to keep the Worst of the Worst illegal alien criminals in your neighborhood," Leavitt wrote.

Leavitt wasn't the only one who had thoughts about the throwback protestors.

It looked similar to the cringey protests against Elon Musk and his electric vehicles earlier this year when he was the face of DOGE, the Department of Government Efficiency, as my RedState colleague Nick Arama reported.

And who could forget the great dance protests at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts earlier this year after Trump announced an end to woke shows there.

The video showed protestors doing some kind of interpretive, choreographed dance.
Let's be honest, all of these protests are basically only designed to score them virtue signal points with the other crazies on their side of the aisle.
