From Shattered: Russia Hacking Story Was Created By Clinton Campaign As Damage Control

What a difference six months makes. Do you remember in the lead up to the election how we were all told that questioning the legitimacy of the election was unpatriotic and possibly dangerous, what’s more that it would be nearly impossible to rig the vote ?

In a vivid illustration of how Mr. Trump is shattering American political norms, the Republican nominee is alleging that a conspiracy is underway between the news media and the Democratic Party to commit vast election fraud. He has offered no evidence to support his claim.

“The election is absolutely being rigged by the dishonest and distorted media pushing Crooked Hillary — but also at many polling places — SAD,” Mr. Trump wrote on Twitter on Sunday.

American elections are, unlike those in many democracies, largely decentralized, rendering the possibility of large-scale fraud extraordinarily unlikely. Further, the balloting in many of the hardest-fought states will be overseen by Republican officials, individuals who would be highly unlikely to consent to helping Mrs. Clinton rig the vote.

Give the Democrats credit, they had no problem turning on a dime and steam rolling everything they had said. In less than a day Hillary’s team eagerly embraced the rigged election narrative they had previously denounced as dangerous and possibly leading to violence.

“I’m angry,” Hillary told her friend. And exhausted. After two brutal campaigns against Sanders and Trump, Hillary now had to explain the failure to friends in a seemingly endless round of phone calls. That was taking a toll on her already weary and grief-stricken soul. But mostly, she was mad— mad that she’d lost and that the country would have to endure a Trump presidency.

That strategy had been set within twenty-four hours of her concession speech. Mook and Podesta assembled her communications team at the Brooklyn headquarters to engineer the case that the election wasn’t entirely on the up-and-up. For a couple of hours, with Shake Shack containers littering the room, they went over the script they would pitch to the press and the public. Already, Russian hacking was the centerpiece of the argument.

Turns out telling people that the election was stolen from them would result in violence was about the one thing the democrats did get right. We saw it at the inauguration , we see it when conservatives go to speak, when anyone the left doesn’t like goes to rally. What’s more there is no sign the violence is de-escalating. The leftist groups that have been egged on by the campaign to rewrite the results of the November election are now looking to arm up for greater violence.

Not getting disarmed is a big part of the problem, yes, but we need more than flags and bats. We need to take notes from the John Brown Gun Club and get firearms and training. I know getting firearms in states and cities we have a presence in is usually a hassle, but even handguns would help. It would certainly put a psychological element in while holding fash back. Who do you think a fascist is more afraid of? People with only flags and bats, or people with flags, bats, and guns?”

It’s a pretty sad place to be, because a crazy woman couldn’t take defeat gracefully, and has media and a major political party thinking they salvage their loss by helping her.
