A transcript of a call to an FBI tipline from a woman close to Nikolas Cruz warned that Cruz was ‘likely to explode.’ The FBI has already admitted that it failed to act on the information but now the transcript of the call has been made public and it is absolutely mind boggling how it could have been ignored.

A woman who knew Nikolas Cruz made a chilling phone call to the FBI weeks before he killed 17 people, warning that the twisted teen was “going to explode.”

“I just think about, you know, (Cruz) getting into a school and just shooting the place up,” the unidentified woman said in the eerily prescient call to the FBI’s tip hotline on Jan. 5, according to a transcript obtained by the New York Times.

In the transcript it seems evident that the tipster is nervous and sincerely troubled by what she has observed about Cruz in person as well as online. She tells the FBI intake specialist how Cruz had expressed the desire to kill people on his Instagram accounts, of which he had several. He would post disturbing pictures and messages but later take them down.

Uh on the Instagram he says, “I want to kill people.” Um. Yeah let me see [UI] uh, yes, “I want to kill people.” And um I can give you the Instagram accounts and you can look at them and you’ll see the pictures.

She gives the FBI Cruz’s various Instgram handles then goes on to describe the contents of another of his Instagram accounts where he would post pictures of himself cutting up small animals.

And, now it…it’s cutting up animals and things like that. Little animals. Right now it’s just frogs and I know for a fact it was a bird at one time. Uh just to give you a little background on him. You know how. bird will fly around in the backyard then hit your glass door…your sliding glass doors and hit the ground?

Well that’s what happened. He brought the bird into the house. He threw it on his mother’s kitchen counter and he started cutting it up. He has all kinds of hunting knives. I don’t know what knife he used though. And he started cutting the uh bird up and mother Linda said “Whata are you doing?” and he says  “I want to see what’s inside.” Now…I don’t know [chuckle] That to me would be a red flag.

She goes on to paint a picture of a deranged and confused person who expresses a desire to kill while dressing as an ISIS terrorist, a ninja, or even wearing a “Make America Great Again” cap.

The caller explained that she had tried to contact the family that took Nikolas in after his mother died but no one ever took or returned her calls. She gave the family’s contact information to the FBI. Later she explains how Cruz never finished high school because he kept getting expelled from schools because of his violent tendencies.

He’s thrown out of all these schools because he would pick up a chair and just throw it at somebody, a teacher or a student because he didn’t like the way they were talking to him. Um. I- I just think about, you know, getting into a school and just shooting the place up.

I just want to, you know, get it off my chest in case something does happen and I do believe something’s going to happen.

What does the FBI have to say about the transcript? Not much but it looks like there’s a leaker in the Bureau.

An FBI spokesman declined to comment on the transcripts, only telling the Daily News that the bureau did not officially release it.

It’s easy to understand why they wouldn’t want to release it. This makes the FBI look very bad, especially when you consider that they had already responded to a tip about Cruz commenting on a YouTube video about how he wanted to be a professional school shooter.

After 9/11 everyone talked about how intelligence agencies failed to “connect the dots.” It’s starting to look like the FBI failed to even see the dots at all. How many tips like this are just collecting dust at the FBI.
