The saga of Dr. Ronald Yunis is a sad commentary on what results from a life that traffics in death. Yunis, an Arizona abortionist with 25 years of "reproductive care" under his belt, was recently disciplined by the medical board for multiple reasons, including a 2019 incident where he brandished a gun and pointed it at a pro-life protester.

A Phoenix OB-GYN has learned his punishment for multiple incidents, including where he pointed a gun at anti-abortion protesters several years ago. The Arizona Medical Board sentenced on Friday Dr. Ronald Yunis to six months probation.
The most high-profile incident was when Dr. Yunis was leaving the Acacia Women’s Center in Phoenix in October 2019, and he pulled out a gun while in his car and pointed it at pro-life protesters. He then pointed it at the protesters as he drove away. The incident was caught on camera, and he was later arrested. Yunis pleaded guilty in 2021 in criminal court and was sentenced to two years probation and counseling.
As much as the abortion activists would like to paint this as an incident of harassment, there was no direct physical confrontation between Yunis and the protestors or Yunis' vehicle. Pro-life activists are much smarter than that, and they know how to play the long game; which is why the activists on the other side attempt to escalate and attack. Here is the cam footage from the protestor Yunis threatened.
As the video references, the Phoenix Police Department dragged their feet, but ultimately interviewed Yunis about the incident.
Did you pull something on anyone out here?” The officer asked.
“Nothing, nothing, my finger, basically, every once in a while,” Yunis is heard replying.“Did that happen on Thursday?” The officer asked.
“Sometimes I do that, sometimes I don’t,” Yunis replied. “Depends on what they’re doing.”
In the body camera video, Yunis tells police protestors have become more “aggressive” outside of the clinic and accuses the protestors of lying.
“I’m sure you guys know that these guys are making stuff up,” Yunis said.
The next day officers arrest Yunis after a traffic stop in front of St. Joseph’s Hospital.
“Is this about brandishing?,” Yunis asks an officer.
“Well, there’s a detective that wants to speak to you about an incident,” The officer is heard replying.
“I was threatened. IT’s pretty clear, it’s pretty obvious,” Yunis said.
Yunis lied through his teeth. Shortly after that interview, Yunis was pulled over by police and admitted to having a gun in his car. Finally, in 2021, Yunis was brought up on "one count of disorderly conduct designated as a dangerous offense."
Along with this gun offense, Yunis was also found liable for behavior at one of the hospitals where he had privileges. His file included unprofessional conduct with nurses and staff and subpar and potentially dangerous patient care. The medical report named five patient incidents.
Shades of Kermit Gosnell, who was an example of the slippery slide of dealing in the manipulation of women and murdering of innocents. Had it not been for the Supreme Court of the United States overturning Roe v. Wade, who knows what violations Yunis would have continued to traffic in. Now, he is limited to abortions only up to the 15th week of pregnancy and probably repackaging into a brisk business of abortion pills.
Even before the medical board's probation ruling, Yunis was quite bitter about the Dobbs decision and questioned the restrictions being imposed.
After the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade last week, Maricopa County’s top prosecutor is providing some clarity about which abortion prosecutions will be enforced in the state. Maricopa County attorney Rachel Mitchell told Arizona’s Family she wouldn’t prosecute abortions for rape or incest victims. Mitchell says her background working with sex crimes cases provided a foundation for the decision.

Dr. Ronald Yunis, who’s been an OBGYN for 25 years, was more critical. “Just an empty statement, the hypocrisy of it is unbelievable. So it’s okay to do an abortion on someone or an unborn child that is the product of incest or rape or whatever that is in no way that unborn child’s fault, but it’s not okay to do in the case of domestic violence or something else. Where do you draw that line? It’s just laughable,” he said.
Actually, what is laughable is that Yunis only received six months of probation. Even in a Post-Roe world, abortionists continue to get away with murder.
