They Want Australia to Happen Here: Why the Constitution and Civil Liberties Matter

Don’t think this is not what the Democrats and Left intend to do to America and Americans. While there is a remnant of citizens, organizations, and elected officials who honor the Constitution and our civil liberties, there are others who work to erode and destroy the same so that we can look like other nations.

From 9 News Australia:

A number of major changes to coronavirus restrictions have come into force in New South Wales and Greater Sydney as daily COVID-19 cases remain high.

The new rules, announced by Premier Gladys Berejiklian on Friday, kicked in from 12.01am on Monday.

Here’s a rundown of what is changing across the state.

Lockdown extended

Greater Sydney’s lockdown will be in place until the end of September, at least.

The Premier said Shellharbour and the Central Coast would be removed from the Greater Sydney definition to become rural areas.

The lockdown in rural and regional NSW is due to end on August 28 but that could be extended depending on case numbers.

A decision on that is expected this week.

New mask rules for all of NSW

Everyone across NSW must wear a mask outside of their homes, except for when exercising.

The rule came into force at 12.01am on Monday, August 23.

For those exercising, a mask must be carried at all times.

The rule will be in place for rural and regional NSW until August 28, at least.

Curfew in place for hotspot LGAs

A curfew has been introduced across 12 local government areas in Greater Sydney where coronavirus cases are at their highest.

Those LGAs are Bayside, Blacktown, Burwood, Campbelltown, Canterbury-Bankstown, Cumberland, Fairfield, Georges River, Liverpool, Parramatta, Strathfield, and some suburbs of Penrith.

People are not be allowed to leave their homes between 9pm and 5am.

That curfew came into place at 12.01am on Monday.

The curfew does not apply to authorised workers, emergencies or medical care.

Jokes about Australia returning to its roots aside, know that whoever is controlling the White House and our Health officials are chomping at the bit, anxious to find a way to get us there. One of their most complicit governors has been knocked out (Thank God), one is on the ropes (we are working on the knockout), and in other places We The People are rising up and saying, “Not gonna happen, my friend!”

In the Leftist bastion of Santa Monica, CA, several groups gathered together to protests and lodge their objection to vaccine passports.

In Santa. Monica. Hell may have just frozen over.

The Los Angeles Daily News reports:

A coalition of groups including medical professionals, first responders, parents and students will gather in Santa Monica Saturday to protest Los Angeles’ impending COVID-19 vaccine mandate, saying it will segregate the city, breed more hate and violate the rights of tens of thousands of people.

The “S.O.S California No Vaccine Passport Rally” is being organized by the California chapter of Children’s Health Defense, California Parents United, Latinos for Medical Freedom, Central Coast Health Coalition, Advocates for Physicians Rights, America’s Frontline Doctors, Vaccine Injury Awareness League, Freedom of Religion — United Solutions, Protection of the Educational Rights of Kids, Freedom Angels, UtahRevival.com, Mama Bears Radio and Million Mamas Movement.

The rally at Tongva Park on Ocean Avenue was organized to push back against a motion passed by the Los Angeles City Council on Aug. 11 directing the city attorney to prepare an ordinance requiring people to show proof of at least partial vaccination against COVID-19 to enter most public indoor spaces in the city, including restaurants, bars, gyms, concert venues, movie theaters and even “retail establishments.”

With the FDA-approval of the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine, the stance they are taking will become more difficult. The FDA-approval stamp is all that is needed for government officials to now mandate vaccination as a requirement to employment.

The private sector has already intimated at this, and certain sectors have already revised their employment requirements to reflect this.

The founder of the group California Parents United reflects on this reality and its effects on children:

Tracy Henderson, founder of California Parents United and legal director for Utah Parents United, says the decision to take the vaccine should be a personal choice, and she worries that forcing children to wear masks can also have harmful effects on their health. “I think it amounts to child abuse,” she told City News Service. “Children shouldn’t be affected to protect the health of adults.”

Henderson says the government shouldn’t be telling people how to take care of their health in the first place, and she questions why the FDA hasn’t pulled the vaccines from use already due to concerns over possible side effects.

“Products have been taken off the market for 25 deaths … why is the FDA approving something with this many deaths?” she told CNS. “The cure is worse than the disease.”

What we have on our side is the right to assemble and peacefully protest. The right to privacy and due process, and the right to push back against an overreaching government run by unelected bureaucrats. We need to continue to organize and push back, and uphold and protect the powers given us under the Constitution.

Australia does not have those options. They are still rising up, but sadly have little other recourse.

Not so in America. Keep rising up, and stand for freedom against tyranny—medical or otherwise.
