It will never cease to amaze me how insane folks on the left become whenever Elon Musk does something they don’t like. There is a reason why I call him the Trump of the Digital Space. It seems that no matter what he does, these people get triggered.

Take Musk’s trip to the southern border, for example. Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez was all in a tizzy because a Republican lawmaker in Texas, a border state, went with Musk to assess the situation. Musk later put her back in her place.

But, in the latest episode of “Let’s Be Outraged,” MSNBC anchor Mehdi Hasan gave his own “harumph” about Musk’s border visit in a post on X, the social media platform formerly known as Twitter. “Why is a businessman who runs tech and car companies at the border giving us updates and being hosted by officials and law enforcement?” he whined.

Naturally, other X users pointed out the obvious about Hasan’s ridiculous criticism -- and goals:

Because unlike you he wants Americans to know the truth

Another person stated something many of us are pondering about Hasan's credibility as a 'journalist':

Because he's doing a better job of reporting than losers like yourself.

The questions are valid. Hasan is an alleged journalist, meaning that it is his job to inform his audience about what is actually happening at the southern border. But, like many of his comrades in the elite media, he is probably more concerned with pretending the border crisis isn’t an issue than telling the truth about the matter.

In the earlier days of the border crisis, at least some news outlets were willing to give a more accurate portrayal of the worsening situation at the border. In some cases, reporters were willing to criticize the Biden administration for its apparent lack of transparency and the treatment of unaccompanied minors who faced all kinds of abuse.

However, far-leftist propaganda mills like MSNBC would not dare to continue exposing the severity of the crisis and the inept Biden administration’s inability to provide adequate solutions. Perhaps it is the desire to downplay the border crisis that has caused the distress Hasan is feeling about Elon Musk taking a trip to the southern border.

Hasan and his ilk know that Musk has a gigantic platform and that many Americans listen to what he has to say, whether they are fans or foes of how he runs X. Musk could expose millions upon millions of people to the dire conditions that folks on the left would rather keep as hidden as they possibly can. This is why they are wailing and gnashing their teeth.
