Left-Leaning Study Reveals Some Catastrophic News for Democrats

As the activist media continually tries to convince us that everyone loves President Joe Biden, it is becoming clear that the honeymoon period is over and his popularity is beginning to decline. A recent survey demonstrates that more Americans appear to be seeing the ineptitude of his administration, and as the White House continues to mishandle the country’s problem, the decline will only get worse.

A Harvard/Harris poll revealed that 80 percent of Americans believe that illegal immigration is a serious issue. Even further, respondents indicated that the problem deserves more attention than the Biden administration is giving it. As you already know, Harvard isn’t exactly a bastion for right-wing thought.

About 68 percent of respondents also indicated they believed the president is encouraging illegal immigration. Not too surprisingly, 55% stated they believe former President Donald Trump’s immigration policies should have remained intact.

According to pollster Mark Penn, “Immigration is boiling up as an issue.”

Penn also noted that Americans wish the Biden administration to take a tougher stance on the immigration issue. He wrote:

“Sixty-four percent of registered voters want the Biden administration to issue new, stricter policies to reduce the flow of people across the border. Only 7% of voters could accurately call out the amount of monthly illegal immigrants crossing into the U.S. with 84% underestimate the number, suggesting we should expect stronger voter reactions if the crisis evolves further. Overall, 74% of voters view the current surge in illegal immigrants as a crisis that needs to be addressed immediately, and 56% do not view climate change, racism, and sexism as root causes of migration from South and Central America.”

Even worse, the poll showed that 55 percent believed that Biden’s border policies are “increasing the flow of drugs,” into the country while 45 percent felt the president is “simply treating people more humanely.”

It is also worth noting that the survey revealed that the Biden administration’s attempt to convince the American public that the migrant crisis is Trump’s fault has failed miserably. The survey showed that 61 percent of respondents believed the flood of unaccompanied minors surging at the southern border was the fault of the Biden administration.

When it comes to spending, most Americans are not quite on board the “spend into oblivion” approach that so-called progressives are pushing. According to the poll, 60 percent of respondents believed that “the Biden administration should spend far less than $4 trillion dollars and reduce any increases in taxes and the deficit.” Only 40 percent indicated that the White House should spend $4 trillion.

The poll also measured attitudes towards the far-left Bernie Sanders faction of the Democratic Party when it comes to spending. About 57 percent believed that Biden should “compromise with Republicans, spend less and hold the line on taxes” rather than going along with Sanders.

What’s even more notable are the respondents’ views on the Republican Party. Approval for the GOP has risen from 43 percent in March to 53 percent in June. It’s a pretty significant increase, and it makes sense given the fact that the Democrats have not only failed to implement any meaningful legislation but are pushing far-leftist ideas with which the rest of the nation does not seem to agree.

The study also had some bad news for those espousing Critical Race Theory (CRT). When asked whether “kids in elementary school should be taught that America is structurally racist and is dominated by white supremacy,” 61 percent of participants answered in the negative while only 39 percent supported this type of teaching.

This finding demonstrates that the hard left’s effort to demonize parents speaking out against elements of CRT being taught in the classroom is not working. To put it simply, Americans on both sides of the political divide are not in favor of pushing teaching designed to portray the United States as a structurally and irredeemably racist nation.

However, knowing the hard left, they will learn nothing from this particular study. They will continue to promote their Marxist agenda despite what the country thinks. But if this survey is any indication, their tone-deafness will come back to haunt them in 2022 and 2024.
