Non Shock Poll Results - Hillary Easily Defeats Trump In November

Trump-Clinton

Donald Trump loves talking about the polls. “We’ve got tremendous numbers!” and “We’re beating everybody” are several key phrases. Naturally, when Trump is not winning a race in any given poll, he just dismisses the poll. Calls it “garbage” until that same pollster shows him leading somewhere. Then the pollster in question is “terrific.”

Something Trump has been doing (And not getting called on it by the media. Shocking, right?) often is claiming he “easily” beats Hillary Clinton in the polls. That simply is not the the case. Donald Trump has consistently been shown to be losing to Hillary Clinton and by even larger numbers to Bernie Sanders.

The most recent is the NBC/Wall Street Journal poll:

Hillary Clinton or Bernie Sanders would handily defeat Donald Trump in a general election match-up, while a clash between Clinton and Texas Sen. Ted Cruz or Florida Sen. Marco Rubio would be a toss-up, according to a new NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll.

The poll shows that Trump, who frequently boasts in interviews and campaign appearances that he would beat Clinton in November, would lose a one-on-one contest against her by double digits. In a head-to-head fight, Clinton gets the support of 51 percent of registered voters compared to 38 percent for the real estate mogul.

51% to 38%

Wow.

But it gets better (for Democrats):

For Sanders, the margin of victory would be even greater, the poll shows.

The Vermont senator gets 55 percent support in a hypothetical two-person race against Trump, while the GOP front-runner would get just 37 percent.

Great news, right?

The fact is, Hillary Clinton has been atop Trump in nearly every poll since December:

It’s like a sea of blue. Tremendous numbers!

One simply cannot have the negatives Trump does and expect to win. Simple as that.
