Trump took aim at the Squad again this morning, tweeting:

The “Squad” is a very Racist group of troublemakers who are young, inexperienced, and not very smart. They are pulling the once great Democrat Party far left, and were against humanitarian aid at the Border…And are now against ICE and Homeland Security. So bad for our Country!

This comment was prefaced on Sunday by the following tweet:

I don’t believe the four Congresswomen are capable of loving our Country. They should apologize to America (and Israel) for the horrible (hateful) things they have said. They are destroying the Democrat Party, but are weak & insecure people who can never destroy our great Nation!

No one cares to talk about the reasons for Trump’s criticism of these Congresswomen.

First, these women are racists and bigots. They constantly remind us that they are “people of color” as if that renders them immune to being tagged as racists. But, racism isn’t a one way street. It’s not a label reserved only for whites or Jewish people.

How would one characterize the following statements by Ilhan Omar? She once said that “Israel has hypnotised the world.” On another occasion, she called upon Allah to “awaken the people and help them see the evil doings of Israel.” No one can forget the anti-Semitic remarks she made in February for which she was widely criticized. First, while explaining the reason U.S. politicians supported Israel, she said, “It’s all about the Benjamins, baby.”  The following month, after still more anti-Semitic tweets from Omar, House leadership considered introducing a resolution to condemn her. After much disagreement within the Democratic caucus, the resolution was watered down to condemn  “anti-Semitism, Islamophobia, racism and other forms of bigotry,” a bow to Omar’s progressive allies.

How about Ayanna Pressley’s remarks last week at the Netroots Nation conference a couple of weekends ago? Sounds a little racist to me. How about you?

I don’t want to bring a chair to an old table. This is the time to shake the table. This is the time to redefine that table. Because if you’re going to come to this table, all of you who have aspirations of running for office. If you’re not prepared to come to that table and represent that voice, don’t come, because we don’t need any more brown faces that don’t want to be a brown voice. We don’t need black faces that don’t want to be a black voice. We don’t need Muslims that don’t want to be a Muslim voice. We don’t need queers that don’t want to be a queer voice. If you’re worried about being marginalized and stereotyped, please don’t even show up because we need you to represent that voice.

They are also young and inexperienced. They’ve spent seven months in Congress. A reasonable person might want to familiarize themselves with the lay of the land, learn how things work in Washington, before trying to transform the country into a socialist republic. But not these four.

In February, one month into her first term in Congress, AOC started a revolution when she unveiled her Green New Deal, which is said to be the brainchild of her Chief of Staff, Saikat Chakrabarti. Presented as a climate change bill, it was a bid to take over the U.S. economy.

Surprisingly, the left piled on to this bold new proposal. Most of the candidates support some version of the GND. Against all odds, this 29-year-old former bartender has managed to pull the party to the left.

Anyone who dares criticize the Squad is labeled as a racist. Trump is a racist and so is anyone who voted for him. When pressed for a reasonable explanation, they point to the children in cages, the squalid conditions inside the border facilities, and separation of families at the border, all of which were the same during the Obama administration.

It’s always interesting to hear stories about college students who are read a statement which they are told was made by Trump. Here is an excerpt from a 2014 Obama White House address.

We are a nation of laws. Undocumented workers broke our immigration laws, and I believe that they must be held accountable, especially those who may be dangerous. That’s why over the past six years deportations of criminals are up 80 percent, and that’s why we’re going to keep focusing on threats to our security.

The students tore it apart, then were told Obama had said the words. And they were silent.

No matter. These ladies want to abolish ICE. According to them, our border control agents are Nazis and the detention centers are “concentration camps.” Oh, and Trump is a fascist.

AOC is seen crying at the border. Tlaib puts on an emotional performance in a House committee hearing. Is a detention center supposed to be a hotel? These migrants are trying to enter the country illegally. They’ve been told not to come. They know what to expect before they arrive. Furthermore, if the Squad is so concerned about conditions in these facilities, why were they the only four members of Congress to vote against an aid package to improve them?

Why is it considered racist to criticize these four women? As I see it, they deserve to be criticized. Not because, as they constantly remind us, they are people of color, but because of their anti-Semitism, their overreach, their own roles in stoking racial division and more.

They are headstrong, much like teenagers. Put another way, they don’t know what they don’t know. They’re in a hurry and don’t want to take the time to learn how things are done. As a result, they are making mistakes.

You would think liberals would like them. But their popularity is surprisingly low. Except for those on the far left, most Democrats find these women and their ideas too extreme.

Trump adds “and they’re not too smart.” Here’s an example. In a speech this morning to the NAACP Convention, Rashida Tlaib spoke about her “Boost Act.” In the video below, she tells the audience, “I’m going to take money from the rich and “give it back to the people, those who earned it.” Um…wait a minute.

And the best part of all is that Trump has managed to make them the face of the Democratic Party.
