Just when you think the American Left can’t stoop any lower in their utter contempt for this President and our military, they prove us wrong yet again and sink to a level that is both nauseating and maddening.
After President Trump took courageous and decisive action and targeted high level members of the Iranian military with missile attacks – including the notorious head of Iran’s elite Quds force Gen. Qassem Soleimani – B-list celebrities like Rose McGowan, Michael Moore and comedian George Lopez took to social media to express their outrage and support for the Iranian mullahs:
Actress Rose McGowan tweeted this apology to the murderous regime:
“Dear #Iran, The USA has disrespected your country, your flag, your people. 52% of us humbly apologize. We want peace with your nation. We are being held hostage by a terrorist regime. We do not know how to escape. Please do not kill us.”
Pacifist movie director Michael Moore tweeted this last weekend after the strike:
“I have just sent the Ayatollah of Iran a personal appeal asking him not to respond to our assassination of his top General with violence of any kind, but rather let me & millions of Americans fix this peacefully.”
And finally we have washed up comedian George Lopez who “joked” he would assassinate President Trump for the Iranian regime for only “half” of the $80 million dollars the Iranians are rumored to be offering would be assassins.
After three years of liberals wearing “pink p*ssy hats” and screaming at the sky because President Trump defeated Hillary Clinton in 2016, most rational people realize Trump Derangement Syndrome is a very REAL phenomenon among the Left. Normally we just laugh them off and go about our busy lives but now they have crossed the line.
The Left is using the President’s military action to further demonstrate their irrational hatred for him is in hyper partisan overdrive. In the process – not only are they giving aid and comfort to our enemy – but they are showing contempt for our brave men and women soldiers who have been maimed and killed by one of General Suleimani’s “Improvised Explosive Devices” or IED’s.
Since the start of the Iraqi conflict, over 1,700 soldiers have been killed or seriously injured by these deadly weapons. These soldiers aren’t just a casualty number on a Pentagon statistics sheet. They are and were real people with families and friends who were anxiously waiting for them to come home alive and intact.
Now, clueless entertainers protesting wars and protesting our country taking unilateral military action when necessary is nothing new. Actress Jane Fonda was given the moniker “Hanoi Jane” by proud Americans in the 1960’s after she went to Vietnam to protest our war against the Vietnamese communist government.
I can’t imagine being a quadruple amputee like U.S. Army Sgt. Brendan Marrocco and having to stomach my fellow Americans giving aid, comfort, and sympathy to the very man and evil government responsible for maiming me.
Early Easter morning in 2009, about 125 miles north of Baghdad, U.S. Army Sgt. Brendan Marrocco was riding in an armored vehicle that tripped a roadside explosive device.
The explosion blew Marrocco’s arms and legs off, severed his left carotid artery and broke his nose, left eye socket and facial bones. It blew shrapnel into his face, burned his neck and face and damaged his eyesight.
But Marrocco became the first U.S. soldier in Iraq or Afghanistan to survive injuries as a quadruple amputee. He’s making history again now, as the recipient of a rare double-arm transplant.“Any one of his injuries was life-threatening,” his trauma surgeon, Maj. Jayson Aydelotte, told the New York Times in 2010. “It’s incredible.”
The Democrats always claim they are the Party that empowers minorities, females and those with disabilities. How empowered do you think Melissa Stockwell feels when she reads tweets from Leftist apologizing to Iran.
At 23 years old, Stockwell was deployed to Iraq in March 2004. Less than a month later, her life changed forever. She was part of a routine convoy going through central Baghdad when a big explosion went off.
“Think of the loudest noise you can imagine and our vehicle starts to swerve,” she recalls. “The woman in the front yells IED, IED, we’ve hit an IED!” Stockwell’s left leg was gone. “It sounds strange, but as soon as I was told I didn’t have my leg, I knew it was going to be OK,” the veteran says. “I just kind of had this almost peaceful feeling that, alright, it’s going to be alright. Life isn’t over.”
“But as soon as I was told I didn’t have a leg, I knew I was going to be OK.” Just listen to the grit and determination of this young woman while under unimaginable circumstances.
God bless America, and the wonderful men and women around the world in uniform, who risk death and injury everyday in order to keep us safe. Also, thank God they are fighting for the right of misguided Leftists to spew their bile without repercussions from their government.
