Dobbs Decision and Cocaine: Let's Review the Top 3 Unsolved Mysteries of the Biden White House

The Biden White House feels like a bad episode of “Unsolved Mysteries.” There’s a reason for that. While only in office one term (thankfully), the Biden Administration found a way to leave more questions than answers for the several mysterious happenings that took place during his four-year term. Take a moment and think about how crazy some of these sound. Someone left cocaine in a storage cubby at the White House—cocaine. The most important and controversial SCOTUS abortion case, Dobbs v. Jackson Women's Health Organization, was leaked to the press before the decision was released. No one was held responsible. How is that possible? Let’s explore the top five unsolved mysteries of the Biden Administration. 

Who leaked the SCOTUS Dobbs ruling? 

This is a big one. The most consequential decision on outlawing abortion was before the Supreme Court. I’m not going to relitigate the entire case, but SCOTUS made the right decision by ending the federal supremacy over red states to ban abortion. This was a historical decision by the court. Somehow, the decision leaked early. At the time, SCOTUSBlog outlined the severity: 

“It’s impossible to overstate the earthquake this will cause inside the Court, in terms of the destruction of trust among the Justices and staff. This leak is the gravest, most unforgivable sin.” 

It’s crazy that this happened, but even crazier, the person who leaked the decision is still at large—they ended the investigation with no one in handcuffs. The good news, red states can now limit abortion as they see fit—the bad news is that no one has been held accountable for the dangerous leak that possibly put lives at risk. 

Whose cocaine was found in the White House? 

This one is less of a mystery, but we may never get the actual truth. In July of 2023, the Secret Service released a statement outlining the incident that revealed the drug had been found at the White House. 

“On the evening of July 2, officers from the U.S. Secret Service Uniformed Division found an unknown substance inside a vestibule leading to the lobby area of the West Executive Avenue entrance to the White House. The substance was located inside a receptacle used to temporarily store electronic and personal devices prior to entering the West Wing.”

The substance, later confirmed by the Secret Service, was cocaine. How could a normal human being walk into the White House with cocaine? It’s impossible. It had to be someone with extremely high access to the People's House. Someone who didn’t have to go through the typical staff security protocols. Every day entering the White House, staff have to show their credentials to the Secret Service and run everything entering the building with them through the baggage scanner. I could be wrong, but I have to assume cocaine would be flagged by the scanner—which is why I mentioned it had to be someone with very high executive office access. Someone who could skip the normal protocol of entering the building. A family member, perhaps?

The Secret Service investigation ended without any leads or possible suspects: "The investigation will not be able to single out a person of interest from the hundreds of individuals who passed through the vestibule where the cocaine was discovered.” 

Anyway, we may never know. 

Who was really running the White House? 

I can’t believe we’re asking this question in the year 2025, but here we are. We know who wasn’t running the White House—Joe Biden. If not Joe, then who? At some point, Republicans may bring in top Biden administration leadership and get them under oath, but for now, we can only speculate. President Biden’s family is the clearest answer. With the release of the book, "Original Sin," by Alex Thompson and Jake Tapper, we’ve received more anecdotal information. In an interview with Katie Couric, Tapper says that Hunter Biden was the de facto Chief of Staff: 

Couric: How Big a factor was the Hunter stuff? 

Tapper: I think it was considerable. I think Hunter was driving the decision-making for the family in a way. He was almost like a chief of staff. 

Couric: Does that strike you as pretty bizarre? 

Tapper: It's bizarre because I think he is provably, demonstrably, unethical, sleazy and prone to horrible decisions."

So, Hunter Biden was running the White House? Yikes. It would be funny if it weren’t so serious. We were lied to, over and over again. It’s getting hard to feel sympathy for a family that has seemingly spent their lives covering up their past and poor decisions. 

There are other unsolved mysteries that remain. For example, the autopen and Biden’s health cover-up—but I’ll leave those for another day. These are all important questions. For America’s sake, I do hope that one day the truth comes to light and these cover-ups are exposed.
