The Democrats Make One Final Push to Get Men Onboard and Proves They Aren't Listening

As I've been saying now for some time, the Democrats don't get men, and it appears they aren't going to put in any time and effort to try.

You can see their previous attempts to attract men in an article I wrote last month, and I probably don't need to remind you that there are groups out there such as "White Dudes for Harris" that try and fail to fill highly noticeable masculine gap in the left.

As my colleague Bog Hoge wrote last week, an ad made by "Vote Common Good" and narrated by George Clooney, showed men walking into a polling location with one friend encouraging his buddies to help "Make America Great Again."

Two of the men hesitate as they prepare to fill in the ballot, with Clooney saying that men should think about how the impact of this election will affect the people they care about the most. One of the men's daughters calls out "daddy," highlighting that the ad means women. Two of the men then look at each other, and with a nod, fill the bubble for Harris.

Hoge's response to the ad was fantastic, and points out a glaring issue with it:

But Clooney in this spot is advocating for men to lie—ethics be damned. It doesn’t matter what lines you have to cross, what honor you have to throw away, as long as you throw down for The Cause—which in this case is installing the most extreme left candidate we have ever seen into the Oval Office.

I want to add something to Hoge's commentary on it.

This ad is incredibly insulting to me as a man for several reasons.

Firstly, once again, the left is proving that it doesn't care about me as a man. The entire premise of this ad isn't focused on men, it's focused on women, which is exactly the issue the left is having with men in the first place. Men also have issues they care about and are affected by as men, such as the state of the economy and job security, taxes, levels of crime, and more... yet the left isn't addressing this. It's simply stating that a man's entire reason to vote this election should come down to what the left says would benefit women.

But let's run with that line of appeal and ask a simple question: What do they offer that would benefit women?

Democrats have allowed crime rates to rise through soft on crime policies and an open border. How does create an environment that allows for a safer life for the women I love?

Democrats have more or less destroyed this economy? How does that make keeping a roof over their heads or food in their bellies easier? How does it allow me to give them the things they want or need in order to be happy?

Democrats have allowed DEI to infiltrate nearly every part of our culture, including into the medical profession. How does that keep the women in my life healthy, when the medical field is so polluted with incompetent and ideologically-obsessed medical professionals?

What are the Democrats trying to suggest through this ad in reality? What are they saying I should give my vote to Harris for?

Abortion. That's it. That's all they can actually offer.

Even if I was cool with abortion, and I'm not, that is a far cry from the real concern of feeding, clothing, housing, and providing for my family. The first-world concern of having unfettered abortion access pales in comparison to being financially stable and safe in our community.

These are the issues men truly care about, and it shouldn't get by anyone that these are the things the Harris campaign continuously fails to address. Instead, if we resist the idea that abortion should be a top priority, we're just called sexist and dismissed as being toxic.

By the way, this doesn't even cover the fact that the Democrats are obsessed with redefining what a woman even is, and making sure that men who think they're women can find their way into women's locker rooms and sports. If the left can't even tell me what a woman is, why should I take seriously an ad that's telling me to vote for their benefit?

The left only seems to care about women when they're useful. As Sister Toldjah wrote, this same group dropped an ad for women too, once again telling them to vote based on their "right to choose," which is just a fancy way of saying "vote because abortion."

I have a question for both men and women.

Will abortion put food on the table, gas in your tank, and a roof over your head?
