Jimmy Donaldson, more popularly known as “MrBeast” is arguably one of the most popular internet personalities living today with a following in the millions, specifically on YouTube where uploads entertaining content that often ventures into highly expensive and incredibly generous charitable acts such as literally giving sight to the blind by paying for eye surgeries or giving 20,000 African kids shoes.

Donaldson is often flanked by his entourage of friends who help make his videos, making them stars in the process. One of them is Chris Tyson, a person who was part of Donaldson’s inner circle for years. Tyson had a wife and child and seemed like a normal person, but over the course of time, people began noticing Tyson slowly becoming more and more effeminate, including painted nails and feminine clothing. At one point in 2022, Tyson’s ceased posting photos of he and his family on his Instagram.

Soon it was announced that he and his wife Katie had separated. Not long after that, Tyson would announce that he was transgender and began spelling his name “Kris.” Fan reactions were split with many people, myself included, launching after Tyson for abandoning his wife and child. The other half came to his defense with the usual accusations of transphobia and echoing the claim from Tyson that he was actually doing this for his son.

But the bottom line is that he did abandon his wife and kids. Tyson never stopped being a man despite whatever hormone treatments he’s had or identifying pronouns he’s adopted. He is and always will be a male, and he’s a male that chose his own selfish delusions over the family he had pledged himself to. To his former wife whom he promised to always be a loving and protective husband and his son who will now grow up without his father’s stabilizing influence.

Now, the home that Tyson had created is broken. His ex-wife is now alone and his son is now faced with developmental issues that will inevitably come with someone so close to him celebrating a horrible mental illness and even getting him to participate in it.

People can make excuses all they want about this kind of behavior. They can say Tyson is being “true to herself” or pretend like this won’t have a horrifically negative effect on his son. It will. No one leaves a broken home unscarred and Tyson’s son will definitely bear the brunt of this selfishness.

And rest assured, this is pure selfishness. Transgenderism is nothing short of narcissism that, either intentionally or unintentionally, is weaponized against the people around the person who embraces it. Relationships are destroyed, trust is broken, and people get hurt, especially the person who adopts it.

I truly hope Tyson’s ex-wife finds a good, stable man to marry so that her son can have a positive masculine influence in his life. The child deserves to have a good foundation on which to grow into adulthood, He deserves someone to fill the role his father was too weak and selfish to live up to despite promising to do so and making the decision to start that kind of lifestyle once they brought the child into the world. The kid deserves better than some socio-political nightmare being thrust upon him and used as a pawn by his own biological father on behalf of activist groups who could care less about him in order to make it seem like this kind of nightmare scenario is okay.
