Chris Pratt is one of the most beloved actors in Hollywood despite the amount of flak he takes from online outrage mobs. Despite their outrage toward him, the only thing he’s really guilty of is being a nice, Christian guy who lives like an average American despite being a successful celebrity.

While that’s enough for the unreasonable and emotionally driven mob to slam the Guardians of the Galaxy star regularly, it’s not enough to make the rest of America hate him. It’s not even enough to make his own leftist co-stars despise him. In fact, they’re now coming out of the woodwork to defend him.

It started with Robert Downey Jr. of Iron Man fame. The most popular character in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and highest-paid actor among the bunch spoke up in favor of Pratt. As my colleague, Alex Parker wrote, RDJ didn’t just defend his co-star, he admonished the haters for their baseless attacks on him:

“What a world… The ‘sinless’ are casting stones at my brother, Chris Pratt… A real Christian who lives by principle, has never demonstrated anything but positivity and gratitude.”

“[H]e just married into a family that makes space for civil discourse and (just plain fact) INSISTS on service as the highest value. If you take issue with Chris,,, I’ve got a novel idea. Delete your social media accounts, sit with your OWN defects of character, work on THEM, then celebrate your humanness… @PrattPrattPratt I #gotyerbackbackback.”

But it looks like it didn’t stop there.

Now Pratt’s co-stars are coming out of the woodwork to defend this genuinely good man, including the hard-leftist co-stars like Mark Ruffalo, James Gunn, and Zoe Saldana.

Do you really want to see who the bad guy is in this situation? It’s not Pratt. It’s the leftists who have now turned on Pratt’s co-stars in their intolerance and are going so far as to lob racist slurs at Zaldana.

The mob’s unmitigated hatred disallows even the slightest bit of reason. These celebrities spend months hanging around Pratt and even given his lifestyle likely differing from theirs greatly, his personality and character are enough to make them love him like a brother.

Still, the mob believes it knows better and demands Pratt be drawn and quartered. They’ll also lash out at anyone who stands in the way of this, including people with the same beliefs and ideological framework as them.

If there has ever been a condemnation of the mob necessary for the left, it’s now. When even they begin getting attacked on the basis of their race from the very people who claim everyone else is racist, it’s a wake-up call. Many celebrities helped create this culture and they can help dismantle it.

If they want attacks on good people to stop, they’ll denounce cancel culture and break out of the bubble they live in.

Regardless, kudos to the celebrities who stood up for Pratt and his Christianity. It’s not an easy thing to do in today’s world but they did it in spite of the mob.
