Jim Acosta Gets Snubbed by Trump During G7 Speech and He's Not Happy About It

No one on this planet hates President Donald Trump more than CNN White House correspondent Jim Acosta.

No one.

Acosta is so wrapped up in his loathing for Trump that he attempts to heckle him during speeches now, as he just did at the G7 summit where Trump was speaking. As per the usual, Acosta is very pleased with himself for doing so, looking at himself as some hero for being obnoxious toward Trump.

During a press Q&A, Trump was talking about his desire for clean air and water, but a wealthy country as well.

“I think I know more about the environment than most people. I want clean air, I want clean water, I want a wealthy country, I want a spectacular country with jobs, with pensions, with so many things and that’s what we’re getting,” Trump said.

At some point, someone in the crowd attempted to interrupt Trump, but he was shut down. It was unclear as to whether or not the person was Acosta, though the Daily Caller believes it was.

As Trump wrapped up his answers, he began to walk off stage. That’s when Acosta sprang into action.

You can hear Acosta shouting that he didn’t answer the question as to whether or not he believed in Climate Change. Trump seems to glance in his direction and upon confirming who it was asking the question, continued on without answering.

Acosta, feeling like he really got Trump this time, took to Twitter and described what happened.

“At the end of the news conference I asked Trump whether he believed in climate change. He walked away from the stage and didn’t answer the question,” tweeted Acosta.

“As this video shows, Trump walks away from perfectly capable of hearing the questions on whether he believes in climate change. He clearly heard and he didn’t want to answer it. Saying you want “clean air” and “clean water” isn’t the same as recognizing the climate change threat,” he continued in a different tweet.

Not that I was asked, but I think I can field this one for Trump.

If I was speaking at a summit for mechanics and had just got done talking about my desire for a cleaner but more efficient internal combustion engine, I’m probably not going to take a question from a guy asking me whether or not I believe in headlight fluid, especially after the guy had demonstrated time and again that he’s not exactly an expert on cars.

Acosta wasn’t asking Trump the question in order to learn something valuable, he was trying to set Trump up for a “gotcha” moment and Trump wasn’t taking the bait. It’s next to useless to give any answer to CNN anyway, as no matter what happens, the network will find a way to make it a damaging news item to Trump.

So, as per the usual, snubbing Acosta isn’t because he’s scared of Acosta and his questions. Trump snubbed Acosta because Acosta is a waste of time.

To answer his question, though, Trump does believe climate change is real but not in the sense that many on the left are pushing it to be, and recognized accurately that many scientists pushing the “end of the world” climate change talk we hear a lot nowadays have political agendas. We know Trump said all that because CNN is one of the news agencies who reported on it.
