Joe Biden's Official 2020 Page Is Getting Creamed in Searches by Its Parody Site

Try as former VP and current 2020 hopeful Joe Biden might, there is no getting away from the “creepy uncle” image that he’s inadvertently crafted for himself. The internet being the internet, a parody site for Biden’s creepy exploits popped up, and it seems to be far more popular on Google than Biden’s 2020 page itself.

The parody site is chock full of images and clips of Biden doing what he’s famous for: leaning in from behind women and girls with his face uncomfortably close to theirs. It’s also laced with plenty of innuendo:

Uncle Joe is back and ready to take a hands-on approach to America’s problems! Joe Biden has a good feel for the American people and knows exactly what they really want deep down. He’s happy to open up and reveal himself to voters and will give a pounding to anybody who gets in his way!

The site also gives a rundown of Biden’s past exploits, including his yes vote for the 1996 Defense of Marriage Act, his Violent Crime Control and Law Enforcement Act of 1994 which promoted mass incarceration.

The site also puts down a few quotes from the former VP himself, including the famous one about Obama that came off as more than a little degrading toward black people.

“I mean, you got the first mainstream African-American who is articulate and bright and clean and a nice-looking guy,” reads the quote on the site.

Even better, the site actually sells anti-Biden t-shirts.

While this may be all fun and games for us, for Biden’s team it’s a great loss. Not just because Biden’s actual 2020 site is being passed on by, but due to the fact that it spent more money than other campaigns to make the site look as good as possible according to CNBC:

The problem has also emerged despite the Biden campaign’s prolific spending on Google.

An online tracker maintained by the progressive digital advertising firm ACRONYM shows the Biden campaign has spent more than $360,000 on Google platforms, racking up more spending on the site than all the other candidates in the crowded field except Sen. Bernie Sanders and Pete Buttigieg, the mayor of South Bend, Indiana.

While his official campaign page is absent, Google does prominently display an official Biden advertisement for Biden-related searches.

Google hasn’t done anything to change the standing as of yet, but it just goes to show that the internet is the new wild west. You know never what’s going to happen.
