Israel is having a really good time with President Donald Trump in charge, and to show its appreciation, Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu says he’s going to name a town in Israel after 45.
The internationally famous Prime Minister took to Twitter on Tuesday to share the decision with the world, tweeting it out first in Hebrew that Trump recognizing the Golan Heights as Israel’s is going to result in Trump getting a settlement named after him.
“In honor of President Trump, who recognized Israel’s sovereignty over the Golan, will soon call for a settlement in the Golan Heights in his name,” said Netanyahu.

Netanyahu made a video later on which was posted by his spokesman Ofir Gendelman explaining why he’s come to that decision and will introduce a resolution to name the town after Trump out of appreciation for recognizing Israeli sovereignty.
“PM Netanyahu will present to the government a resolution calling for naming a new community in the Golan Heights after [Donald Trump], as a token of appreciation for his recognition of Israel’s eternal sovereignty over the Golan,” tweeted Gendelman.

“All Israelis were deeply moved when President Trump made his historic decision to recognize Israel’s sovereignty over the Golan Heights,” Netanyahu said. “Therefore, after the Passover holiday, I intend to bring to the government a resolution calling for a new community on the Golan Heights named after President Donald J. Trump.”
Naturally, this has displeased quite a few people on the left who noted that at this time there are still mines in that area and that Netanyahu should take a walk through them, as well as other insults.
🤣 it's probably has active land mines , Netanyahu take a walk

Not yours to name it. Delusional is understatement.

Saying "I'm going to steal Netanyahu's car and name it after Elvis" makes about as much sense.

Pathetic….

However, I doubt this outrage is going to bother either party. In fact, it’s only likely to make both Trump and Netanyahu laugh, seeing as how both leaders face the outrage brigades on a daily basis no matter what they do.
