Antifa’s Joseph Alcoff, 37, is currently on trial for being a part of the mob that attacked Marines Alejandro Godinez and Luis Torres. He’s also part of Smash Racism D.C., the group responsible for terrorizing Tucker Carlson’s wife and children at their own home. He’s currently facing charges alongside two other Antifa members, but apparently, he’s not just keeping company with low-level thugs.
According to Fox News, digging into Alcoff’s past reveals his connections to Washington politicians. In fact, politicians considered his endorsement weighty:
His endorsement apparently mattered when several congressional Democrats in February 2018 issued press releases with his quote backing their bill on regulating payday lenders.
As the payday campaign manager for the liberal group Americans for Financial Reform, Alcoff participated in congressional Democratic press conferences, was a guest on a House Democratic podcast and met with senior officials at the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau from 2016 through 2018.

These congressional Democrats include now-House Financial Services Committee Chairwoman, California Democrat Maxine Waters, as well as ranking Democrat on the Senate Banking, Housing and Urban Affairs Committee, Ohio’s Sen. Sherrod Brown.
Not surprising considering Waters has encouraged the Antifa mindset of mob intimidation.
Needless to say, Democrats abandoned Alcoff for the most part, and refuse to answer any questions about him. Spokespersons for Democrat members of Congress have not returned any inquiries from Fox News about their relationships to Alcoff.
At one point, Democratic Rep. Don Beyer of Virginia attended an event alongside Alcoff, who came dressed as “Lenny the Loan Shark.” Beyer’s spokesman said that though they were at the event together, and their names on are on paper together, the two never interacted.
“The congressman has never interacted with him nor has he taken any financial policy advice from him. Their names have appeared on the same piece of paper,” Beyer spokesman Aaron Fritschner told Fox News. “He appeared at the same press conference, but they didn’t speak to each other. This person was literally wearing a shark outfit.”
Left shark strikes again.

The problem is that they can’t get too much distance from Alcoff as he was a guest on the House Democrats’ Joint Economic Committee podcast according to Fox News.
