The kids from Covington Catholic committed a carnal sin according to the judgment of the mainstream media and the mob. That sin is having the wrong opinions while attending the wrong event, and being thrust into the wrong situation.
So now, according to the mob, the kids must pay in some way, shape, or form, be it expulsion, the closing down of their school, or even an agonizing death as suggested by some accounts. The mob is not above harming kids if said kids run afoul of it, and if not directly encouraging harm, exposing them to it will suffice.
That’s why the school is going to close on Tuesday. According to Fox19, the school’s principal, Robert Rowe sent out a notification informing parents and students that the school would be closed due to security concerns.
“After meeting with local authorities, we have made the decision to cancel school and be closed on Tuesday, January 22, in order to ensure the safety of our students, faculty, and staff,” Rowe wrote.
“All activities on campus will be canceled for the entire day and evening. Students, parents, faculty, and staff are not to be on campus for any reason. Please continue to keep the Covington Catholic Community in your prayers.”
The media firestorm that has surrounded the kids from Covington Catholic has been as misreported as it is overblown. The kids were not mocking and taunting a Native American elder as was originally described by the media, but were instead doing their best to drown out the vile things being screamed at them from nearby people from the Black Hebrew Israelite hate group. The Native American activist approached the confused kids, likely in order to start trouble.
The media explosion that occurred thanks to the spread of misinformation has now put children in danger, much of which seems to be perfectly okay with the mob. What’s more, the mob is far more willing to blame this on the hate generated by conservatives, despite the fact that the MAGA hat wearing kids from the video did absolutely nothing hateful or provocative.
