WATCH: Whoopi Goldberg Rips Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez Over Her Infighting With Democrats

The old and new Democrats have been on the verge of infighting for quite some time, but slowly and surely it’s beginning to manifest.

However, the last people you’d expect to rip on New York’s fresh-faced democratic socialist, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, is a leftist from The View, but it would appear that at least one of the ladies is none-too-happy about the infighting the young Democrat is bringing to the table.

According to the Washington Examiner, Whoopi Goldberg lashed out at the AOC on Monday during their morning show, venting frustrations about her “pooping on” other Democrats.

Television host Whoopi Goldberg warned freshman Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., that she should learn her job as a congresswomen before she tells others what to do.

“You just got in there, and I know you’ve got lots of good ideas, but I would encourage you to sit still for a minute and learn the job, because there are people in that party who have been working their tails off for this country. They know a lot, and you could learn some stuff from them,” Goldberg said while co-hosting “The View.” “Before you start pooping on people and what they’ve done, you’ve got to do something, too.”

Goldberg was reacting to Ocasio-Cortez’s “60 Minutes” interview, which aired Sunday, in which the newly sworn-in congresswoman explained her intentions to support Democratic primary candidates who seek to unseat incumbent Democrats.

Goldberg was reacting to AOC’s proclamation that she would support incoming Democrats against Democratic incumbents, saying that what Democrats have tried in the past doesn’t work. Goldberg, however, praised older Democrats, like Rep. John Lewis, D-Ga., and Sen. Dianne Feinstein, D-Calif., who she noted have long and successful careers within the Democratic Party.

“There are a whole bunch of people in the Democratic Party who have been busting their asses to make sure that women get what they need, people get what they need, children get what they need,” Goldberg said.
