The View host Joy Behar has proven to be something of a bigot when it comes to people’s religion…well, certain people’s religion, it seems.
If you’re Vice-President Mike Pence, your Christianity is something of a mental illness according to Behar, who stated that if Pence is hearing God talk to him, then he’s crazy. A very displeased Mike Pence responded to Behar’s comments saying that he’s not angry that she attacked him, but the faith of millions of Americans.
As it turns out, one of those Americans is talk show queen and the Democrat’s “help me Obi Wan Kenobi, you’re my only hope” candidate Oprah, and according to her, she views her Christianity just like Pence does.
Oprah sat down with 60 Minutes to discuss the possibility of her 2020 presidential run, and flat out denied she would even try. Why? Because she hasn’t heard God tell her to.
“And wouldn’t I know? Because if God actually wanted me to run, wouldn’t God kinda tell me? And I haven’t heard that,” said Oprah.
Suddenly, Behar doesn’t seem to have much to say. Nor does the left, which thought Pence’s conversations with God were the laugh riot of the week. Rest assured, if you substituted Pence with Oprah, you’d have articles from Media Matters calling Pence insane just as Behar did. YouTube would be littered with videos of commentators discussing how Pence would push for a theocracy if he won a Presidential election. Endless amounts of women cosplaying like handmaids would protest his events.
But Republican Pence didn’t say that on 60 Minutes, Democrat Oprah did.
Which brings up the question of how the left can square its anti-Christian bigotry with the fact that the person on top of their candidate wish-list is a devout Christian. This is the party that booed God at their national convention, with members that call the practice of Christianity a “mental illness.”
Democrats should get their ideological house in order.
