The good thing is that there were at least a few new news items to occupy the minds of the media this week. However, this being the media complex, they still managed to completely invalidate themselves in the process. At issue was a recurring problem that used to be addressed by a basic tenet of journalism.
In two major news stories, the entire narrative was blown apart because they were based solely on a solitary origin. The old mantra of always getting two sources has been dispatched entirely, especially so in the age of President Trump. And so, The Guardian was primed to deliver an explosive report on Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard, only to have the story severely altered when the lone source changed their tune.
Likewise, we saw The Times of London come out with a nugget from the Epstein files, alleging that the infamous predator was supposedly connected to Israel’s Mossad. We show that even in the piece, they displayed every reason to hold back on this revelation, yet could not hold back.
Now, crack one open and savor some outmoded media malpractice and misinformation.

The Guardian ran what it thought was an explosive expose on Tulsi Gabbard.
Gabbard’s staffer shows that the report was completely compromised, as well as the reporter disregarding their comments and not waiting for the requested information.
Your story is false. This headline is not accurate.

Your leaker lied to you. And you ignored our requests to give us time to get you accurate information and published your story before we could respond.
You are a total loser being used by your sources (likely Congress) to… https://t.co/kWyVWXR2yJ
- The Times of London piece on Epstein being a Mossad agent is rooted in deeply questionable sourcing.
Not helping her cause, reporter Gabrielle Weiniger posted “proof” of Epstein with an Israeli official, only it was a fake photograph.
The Washington Post continues to do damage to itself and justifies the layoffs, as the latest sees them “Breaking” a news story they then had to walk back, as it had been announced by the president months ago.
Most of the press is less than energetic in reporting on the documents in the Epstein files showing law enforcement attesting that Trump did, in fact, contact them long ago about Epstein’s behavior.
