It was an amazing display of ineptitude when CBS News ran a report on the DOJ making a court filing for the Department Leaker Jack Teixeira. The claim was they found him with a cache of weapons and tactical gear in his bedroom – then showed a picture where his arsenal was made up of toy Airsoft rifles. (Just as bad, CNN followed suit and did the same thing.) But CBS was not finished with the fiascos, as the outlet next ran a deeply flawed report about basketball great Dwyane Wade leaving Florida due to DeSantis.
Then we cover the collusion seen at the White House as it was seen reporters are feeding President Biden pre-written questions. I also have some Tucker updates, fact-checker failings, and then some coverage of this weekend’s Nerd Prom, the White House Correspondents Dinner.
Now crack one open and savor some mainstream media mayhem and malpractice.

With D.C. vibrating over Saturday's Correspondents Dinner I look at a decision by the @WHCA to remove the name of a historic journalist from one esteemed award.
This was a decision made over sensitivities, falling prey to emotion-driven revisionism.https://t.co/B0eLtobOfM— Brad Slager: Canceled My CNN+Lifetime Subscription (@MartiniShark) April 25, 2023
