A federal judge has declined to immediately issue a temporary restraining order against the Trump administration's deployment of troops to Los Angeles.
That comes after Gov. Gavin Newsom requested an emergency motion earlier on Tuesday as part of his ongoing battle against President Donald Trump's attempts to quell the anti-ICE riots going on in California's largest city.

NEW: I just filed an emergency motion to block Trump’s illegal deployment of Marines and National Guard in Los Angeles.

Why would a governor be trying so hard to protect left-wing anarchists who are attacking law enforcement and setting things on fire while waving Mexican flags? That's a good question, and one that is mostly rhetorical at this point, given the Democratic Party's penchant for appeasing its radical base.

A bit of a correction on the above post, which contains a picture of the order. While essentially all right-leaning news sources are using the word "denied" to describe the judge's decision, he hasn't actually done that. Not yet, anyway. What he did was grant the Trump administration's request for 24 hours to respond to the motion and schedule arguments over the motion for Thursday. With that said, it is a small win that a TRO was not immediately put in place, as the White House can continue with its plan for now.
We'll see what direction the judge goes after Thursday's hearing, but I sincerely hope he doesn't break glass over this. The president having control over the military, including the National Guard, is a fundamental power and one that should not be usurped by a judge buying into partisan arguments. If that happens, it's most likely going to be a red line moment for the Trump administration. It's also something I'd speculate the Supreme Court won't let stand.
Editor's Note: President Trump isn't going to allow lawlessness to reign in America. We will not have a repeat of 2020's "Summer of Love."
