The hits just keep on coming for the Democratic Party, with a gut punch being delivered on Monday by the Supreme Court.
After months of legal maneuvering in an attempt to kick Donald Trump off the ballot for supposed "insurrection," Colorado's Secretary of State, Jena Griswold, got her answer. In a unanimous decision, the Supreme Court ruled that she did not have the legal authority to arbitrarily decide that Trump had violated the 14th Amendment while denying others the right to vote for him.

In response, Griswold went on MSNBC because where else are left-wing politicians going to go to gnash their teeth?
Colorado Secretary of State Jena Griswold (D), suffering a near total breakdown:

“[I]t’s as clear as day what Donald Trump did: He incited that violent mob to rush on to the Capitol to try to stop the peaceful transfer of presidential power. And his attacks and his allies’… pic.twitter.com/UjYra9odCw
I give all the credit in the world to my friend Curtis Houck from Newsbusters for transcribing these exchanges so I didn't have to. I was getting a migraine just thinking about having to replay that woman's comments multiple times to get it all typed out. Crisis averted on that front.
What wasn't averted was my mind being numbed by what Griswold said. At this point, the whole "saving democracy" thing comes across as a symptom of mental illness. These people are so wrapped up in their delusions of grandeur that they believe removing their opponent from the ballot, a tyrannical move usually reserved for third-world countries, is somehow preserving fundamental rights.
To put it simply, Democrats are not protectors of "democracy," and it is profoundly undemocratic to try to win an election by weaponizing the government against one's opponent. In other words, despite her protestations and lofty language, Griswold is the baddie in this scenario. She's the authoritarian, and it took the Supreme Court stepping in to stop her. Perhaps some introspection is in order.
Good luck getting that from her, though.
Pretty dangerous stuff from Colorado Secretary of State Jena Griswold (D):

“Look, this upcoming election has, will have a big impact on our fundamental freedoms. The idea that women should have control over our own bodies. The idea that our democracy should remain in tact. And… pic.twitter.com/jrzBdT8uzC
The role of a Secretary of State is to administer elections in a legal and unbiased manner. It is not to speak in a partisan manner about abortion and "democracy" remaining intact. By ranting about such, Griswold is revealing she has no business being in her position. Clearly, she is motivated by an opposition to conservative policies, making the "insurrection" ploy just a convenient excuse to abuse her power.
Griswold continued by attacking Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas.
More lunacy from Colorado's Jena Griswold, lashing out at Clarence Thomas and bashing the Court’s -- while offering fake platitudes we should be respect them.

MSNBC’s Katy Tur: “Do you think this Court is partisan?”
Colorado Secretary of State Jena Griswolf (D): “I think this… pic.twitter.com/LzVtQalKek
Again, the decision was 9-0. Is she suggesting Sonia Sotomayer and Ketanji Brown Jackson are partisan Republicans? Oh, who am I kidding? I'm looking for logic where there is none, as evidenced by repeated instances of "crazy eyes" throughout the interview.

Griswold is nuts. That's the easy explanation. She believes that she can deny her citizens the right to vote for their chosen candidate based on some egotistical (and illegal) notion of "saving democracy." That's far more dangerous than anything the re-election of Donald Trump could bring about.
