WATCH: Jim Jordan Exposes the Timeline of the Biden-Blinken Hunter Biden Subterfuge

As RedState reported, another major Biden administration scandal burst into the open on Thursday after it was revealed that current Secretary of State Antony Blinken orchestrated an infamous letter used to dismiss the Hunter Biden laptop as “Russian disinformation.”

In October 2020, just prior to the last presidential debate, 51 current and former intelligence officials were brought together to produce a denunciation of the laptop as disinformation. They did so with an air of authority and certainty that was then used to dismiss the story entirely. Social media companies censored The New York Post, which broke the news, while Joe Biden used the letter as a counter to Donald Trump’s mention of the situation in the aforementioned debate.

Now, we are learning that it was Antony Blinken, operating on behalf of the Biden campaign, who orchestrated the letter. Rep. Jim Jordan appeared on Fox News to explain the illuminating timeline.

“When the story came out on Oct. 14, 2020, about the ‘Biden business operation’ and whether then-Vice President Joe Biden was involved, there was some concern that he was — then quickly it turns into this political operation — that letter that became the basis for suppressing the story and keeping it from the American people just days before the most important election we have,” he said.

“The 14th, the [New York] Post has a story. The 17th, Tony Blinken… contacts Mike Morell and gets him interested in this. Mike Morell looks at it the next day, organizes on the 18th all these other people to sign the letter. The 19th, the letter goes out.”

Jordan added Morell concocted the letter in time for the NBC presidential debate on Oct. 22 because he thought then-President Trump would bring up the laptop issue, which he did.

Morell and Blinken wanted a statement Joe Biden could use to rebut Trump’s likely allegations, “because, as Mr. Morell said, they wanted [Biden] to win,” he continued.

Far from being organic, which is how it was presented, the letter was invented by the Biden campaign as a way to astroturf a response to what would have otherwise been highly damaging information, and the speed at which the plan was executed is stunning. It took less than a week for these intel officials to be organized by Mike Morell at the urging of Antony Blinken. Within hours, it was being used to justify a near-total blackout of the Hunter Biden laptop story, and by the next presidential debate, the moderators were accepting it as gospel.

This was a partisan information operation, not the truth, and no one involved has even apologized for what occurred. Meanwhile, there should be very real questions asked about whether this ran afoul of campaign finance law. Could the letter have been an in-kind contribution to Biden’s campaign given it was solicited by the campaign in order to directly benefit Biden’s chances in the election? That’s certainly an avenue of investigation that should be pursued, and I’m sure Jordan will be up for the challenge.

In the end, the real victims here are the American people. The Biden campaign used this information operation to cover up scandalous behavior that could have otherwise changed votes, and they will face zero consequences for doing so. That’s the real threat to “democracy.”
