Jessa Duggar Fires Back at the Disgusting Ghouls Who Falsely Accused Her of Having an Abortion

(Duggar)

When a mother loses a child, normal people respond with empathy in care. On the other hand, disgusting ghouls use the event as a way to push one’s chosen fetish of killing babies in the womb. Yet, that’s exactly what happened after Jessa Duggar opened up in a video about recently having a miscarriage.

Because of the risk of infection and her body not passing the remains naturally, a post-death procedure known as a dilatation and curettage (D&C) was performed. Major press outlets and media figures rushed to proclaim that Duggar was a colossal hypocrite because she had an “abortion” while being pro-life.

Again, this is a woman who had just lost a child.

How people could be that cruel is beyond me. When bad things happen to people I disagree with politically, the last thought on my mind is trying to dunk on them in the midst of their pain. I can’t count how many times I’ve simply kept my mouth shut because it was the right, moral thing to do. It wasn’t enough for these left-wing mouthpieces to be ghoulish, though. They also went the extra mile of spreading disinformation in the process.

As Duggar explained in her original video (MRC), the initial sign that something was wrong came during an ultrasound when no heartbeat could be detected. The baby had passed weeks before the D&C was performed.

“I ended up having to go see my doctor because (of) my history of hemorrhaging and all of that, there was concern that if I tried to just take something or pass the baby at home that, that I might have trouble and have to be transported and all that. It just wasn’t something that seemed like a very good option. And so we decided to go to the hospital, get checked in there and go through the process of a D&C.”

Seewald said the baby had been gone for three weeks by the time she had the procedure.

In short, she did not have an “abortion.” She had a procedure that is sometimes used to carry out elective abortions, but Duggar herself did not “abort” anything. The baby died of natural causes, and just because a procedure has multiple uses does not mean all those uses are morally or technically equivalent. No doctor performs a D&C on a dead baby in the womb and tells the patient they were given an abortion. That would be a horrific thing to do.

Yet, that’s exactly what the rabid pro-abortion radicals on the left did. They couldn’t just shut up this one time and let a grieving mother grieve. Instead, they attacked her with misrepresentations and lies.

For her part, Duggar has responded, slamming those who tried to use her tragedy for political gain.

“Women have D&C’s for many reasons, not all of which involve killing a living human being,” she posted beneath her video on YouTube. “The ultrasound revealed that I had a missed miscarriage. My baby’s heart had stopped beating 3 weeks before I had a D&C.”

“Each person is created ‘in the image of God’ (Gen 1:27), and to purposefully destroy a baby in the womb is an affront to the God who created that life,” she went on. “There’s a world of difference between someone dying and someone being killed. To equate one to the other— and to a mother grieving the loss of her baby no less— is severely distasteful. There is a world of difference between a mortician and a murderer. Even a child understands the difference between the two.”

I’m going to say this in a very matter-of-fact way: The radical pro-abortion movement is evil.

Its disciples see killing children as a religious rite, and they are so wrapped up in their ideology that they’ll pretend that miscarriages are elective abortions. Why? Because, deep down, they know elective abortions are wrong, and their way of trying to square the circle is to equate it with the natural death of a baby. They can’t just outright own what they support because what they support is so terrible and barbaric.
