MSNBC Analyst Delivers the Most Insane Response to Texas' Abortion Law Possible

The absolute meltdown over Texas’ abortion law, which bans abortions after a fetal heartbeat is detected, continues apace. As RedState has reported over the past few days (see here and here), from the ACLU to Congressional members, the hysteria has reached a fever pitch because to the ghouls, any baby that gets a chance at life while further litigation takes place constitutes irreparable damage.

Yet, there’s also a take so hot, so insane that it requires a double-take. That happened on Joy Reid’s show yesterday (because where else, right?).

Frankly, I don’t know this guy’s name and I’m not going to waste time looking it up because this clown doesn’t deserve that kind of effort. What I do know is that he’s a disgusting piece of garbage, and I don’t say that lightly. I normally keep my emotions in check when it comes to political issues, and that includes what descriptors I use when talking about opponents. But seeing a man literally ask the President of the United States to “deputize” death squads to go into Texas to murder babies en masse is worth me making an exception.

How do the people who run MSNBC sleep at night putting this kind of insane, blood-thirsty commentary on the air? Further, it’s just really stupid. By what delegated power could the president give doctors qualified immunity to go perform abortions in Texas? Is this what MSNBC thinks qualifies as smart, thoughtful analysis?

I’m not so sure. Rather, I think they’ve completely lost control of Joy Reid and now lack the ability to rein her in. Formerly the weekend host for a low-rated, dumpster fire program, Reid is now the host for a low-rated, dumpster fire program in primetime. People can speculate on how she ended up there, but identity politics almost certainly played a role — given she’s so terrible at her job.

Yet, while she used to at least have some semblance of a filter, Reid is now full, BlueAnon crazy at all times. As an example, she’s taken to calling Republicans the “American Taliban” lately. You know, because the Taliban also don’t support scrambling children in the womb and sucking them out with a vacuum. Reid thinks that’s a clever dig and not a sign that they are, you know, worse than the Taliban in some respects.

Regardless, Reid and her sick guests are just a symptom of a broader disease. Society has become so deluded that half the country not only believes it’s acceptable to kill babies, but that to not do so is violence against women. Words have no meaning. Up is down, down is up, and things are only getting worse. I don’t know how this ends well.
