People wonder why I constantly feel the need to treat Hollywood with a bit of nuance and not all-out disdain, and "Guardians of the Galaxy" and "Jurassic World" actor Chris Pratt is one of those reasons why.
Not only is he an unabashed Christian who openly proclaims his love of Christ and encourages others to come to him as well, Pratt is one of the more level-headed people you'll see... and I don't just mean in Hollywood. The man knows how to approach situations with humility and reason that too many people reject.
He displayed that ability to reason while talking to Bill Maher on his show "Club Random" over cigars.
At some point, the conversation got onto talking about Robert F. Kennedy Jr., whom Pratt called "wonderful" and praised Trump's plan to have Kennedy "Make America Healthy Again."
“I’ve spent a number of occasions hanging with him, just in a strictly, you know, family dinner kind of vibe, and I really got along well with him,” Pratt said. “I think he’s great. I think he’s funny. He’s wonderful. I like him. I love him.”

Pratt said that he safely assumes all of the worst parts said about a divisive leader (in this case, Trump) aren't true by virtue of the fact that divisiveness causes people to want to make that person look terrible. He then began talking about the MAHA plan and how some people will oppose it because of their hatred for Trump, which Pratt finds absolutely bizarre.
“There are certain things that he — oversees that seem to be supported in a bipartisan way, like getting terrible, toxic stuff out of our kids’ food," Pratt said. "I think that’s a great thing. And so, like, just – if you just do that, that’s amazing.”
“I’d hate to be so mired in hatred for the president that any success from his administration is something I’d have an allergic reaction to, he continued. "To be like, ‘Oh, well, if they do it, I don’t want it to happen. I’ll put Clorox in my children’s cereal myself.’ Come on. Be reasonable here.”
This is why I'll always be a Chris Pratt fan. Just a genuinely good dude. pic.twitter.com/M4N3L9ve8X

There are going to be people who don't take this well when they see it, and Pratt is one of those actors that the left loves to hate. His open love of Christ has often put him in the crosshairs of many an online mob, as he's been accused of hating members of the LGBT community with absolutely no proof to that regard. He also came under fire for encouraging people to pray with him for director Kevin Smith when he had a heart attack, causing the mob to re-up their efforts to have him canceled. The Guardians of the Galaxy cast and crew had to come to his defense, and soon Smith did as well.
This is definitely going to send leftists into a tailspin. They can't stand to see someone like Pratt have the kind of fame and love of the people that he does.

But, if anything, Pratt is someone to emulate. Not everything has to be hard-driven lines, and even things that can be agreed upon should be cheered on, even if the people doing it aren't necessarily on your team.
Good on him for having the bravery to say common-sense things that shouldn't be considered bold, but are, especially in his industry.
