The New York Times really knows how to pick them. 1619 Project founder Nikole Hannah-Jones got exposed for what she is today, to the extent that the mask isn’t already completely off. This is the same woman who shared an insane conspiracy theory about government agencies and fireworks several days back.
Now, one of her former papers she wrote in 1995 has come to light and it has some interesting opinions in it. Namely, Hannah-Jones shows herself to be a rabidly racist individual.
This deranged and racist nutjob, who all but called for genocide against millions of people based entirely on their skin color, is currently writing the history curriculum that will be taught in your children's schools. She is a vile and hateful bigot. https://t.co/28ui4NSV5Y

Here’s what Sean is talking about.
In an indication of what was to come, the founder of the New York Times’ 1619 Project penned a lengthy racist screed attacking all white people in 1995.
Nikole Hannah-Jones, the lead essayist on New York Times Magazine’s 1619 Project, wrote a letter to the editor in Notre Dame’s The Observer stating that “the white race is the biggest murderer, rapist, pillager, and thief of the modern world.”
Not only is the screed she wrote full of racist accusation and wording, it’s also full of conspiracy theories.
Hannah-Jones claims Africans arrived in North America long before Europeans, but that unlike Europeans, Africans befriended and traded with the indigenous people. She claims pyramids in Mexico are a symbol of said friendship.
She then moves to the present and argues that white people today still take advantage of other people.
“The descendants of these savage people pump drugs and guns into the Black community, pack Black people into the squalor of segregated urban ghettos and continue to be bloodsuckers in our community,” she writes.
I’m not sure what she’s talking about in regards to Africans arriving generations before Europeans and being peaceful with Native Americans. Perhaps there’s some historical exception I’m unaware of, but I’ve never heard that posited before. Besides, Native American tribes were not inherently peaceful. Some were also known to be racist against blacks, up to and including owning African slaves. In other words, the idea that the North American continent was a peaceful utopia before Europeans got to it is a fantasy. But it’s exactly the kind of tale one would spin if they want to make white people the root of all evil.
The rest of her letter is just more racist tripe. You can go to The Federalist link and read it in full. She even manages to throw in a Hitler comparison, because why not?
This is the person who was given a Pulitzer Prize for an alt-history retelling of America’s founding that is full of falsehoods. Worse, she’s being elevated to the point of having her faux historical analysis taught in schools. At the Times, she all but runs the place, having already caused an uproar over a recent Tom Cotton op-ed.
Is this really who The New York Times wants representing them? I guess it is, because they seem to be purging anyone who doesn’t toe the far-left, radical line at this point. In the end, it’s their own credibility that will suffer. Hannah-Jones is not a person any news outlet should have bet their future on.
