CNN's Brian Stelter Lets the Spittle Fly Over Coverage of Michael Flynn Case

If you’ve noticed a distinct lack of coverage from CNN over the stunning revelations involving the Michael Flynn case, you aren’t alone. The liberal network essentially blacked out the documents that were revealed showing the FBI sought to setup Flynn and get him fired.

This ultimately led to the charges against Flynn being dropped which, of course, formed the biggest political story of the past week. While MSNBC chose to set their hair on fire and pretend that Flynn wasn’t bullied with threats into pleading to a process crime, CNN apparently wants you to just shut up completely.

Enter Brian Stelter, who had a meltdown this morning over the fact that right-wing media has focused on a legitimately major scandal.

Let me translate that for you. He doesn’t want to cover a story that pushes back on his network’s four-year-long false narrative, so he’s instead going to virtue signal while standing on the dead and proclaim caring about government corruption means you want grandma to die.

Of course, in reality, “right-wing media” has spent countless hours at this point covering the Wuhan virus. Heck, it’s gotten to the point where I dread writing about it because it’s been so dominant in the news cycle. The idea that anyone at RedState or any other conservative outlet has obfuscated on the topic is lunacy.

But CNN is certainly guilty of omission when it comes to the Flynn case. They’ve ignored the evidence that shows the FBI acted improperly and instead tried to handwave it all away. Now they want to get mad that alternative sources of news are actually covering, you know, the news? Give me a break.

Stelter and his network are just operating as hacks. They don’t want to cover the story that destroys everything they’ve pushed since Trump assumed office. Perhaps they should worry more about covering the news fairly instead of continuing to evaluate only the issues they deem politically advantageous. They won’t though.
