You’d think a person running on their feminist cred would be against letting men steal scholarships and accomplishments from women, but I guess not.

Elizabeth Warren has decided to continue the same strategy that’s thus far doomed her campaign. Namely, she’s decided to go fully woke on just about ever topic that comes up. Transgenderism is no different, as Warren is now making it clear that she believes biological men should be able to dominate women’s sports.

Actually, since I’m assured that Warren is big on science (insert dramatic, echoing voice here), you’d think she’d realize that “trans athletes” are indeed a threat to women’s sports. The advantages biological males hold over females is not just testosterone. It’s everything from natural size, to the ability to gain muscle, to mental aspects like increased aggression. By allowing boys to compete with girls in high school, for example, it robs scholarships and accomplishments from biological females who are just doing the best they can. There are already state record books being re-written by boys who refuse to just go compete with other boys.

Unfortunately for Warren, her latest pandering attempt isn’t going so well. Why? Because most Democrats are sane enough to realize this is ridiculous and unfair.

This is an anti-woman position. So disappointing.

Natal men competing against natal women is not the same as being "safe and welcomed at school." Why does sex segregation exist in sport at all? And ask yourself where the trans-men are who demand representation in men's sport.

You know, there’s a really simple solution to all this and it doesn’t even require any new leagues being formed. What’s stopping a boy who thinks he’s a girl from playing with other boys in order to keep competition fair? There will be locker room issues regardless, so why not just play with your biological sex? If this is really just about the desire to compete, then go play men’s basketball, soccer, or whatever and have fun.

But it isn’t really about that. For many of these people suffering from gender dysphoria, it’s also about gaining a competitive advantage. There’s a reason you never see girls who think they are boys trying to play in boys leagues. It’s because there are actual differences between the sexes and that becomes obvious when you can’t just walk in and dominate everyone.

Whoever Warren’s campaign manager is needs a new job. Prior to her entry in the race, the Massachusetts Senator had a prime opportunity to come in and take the primary by being a pragmatic, mainstream alternative to Bernie Sanders. Instead, she’s raced headlong into the woke Olympics, including saying she’ll let a trans child pick her Secretary of Education, and it’s hurt her campaign. The majority of Americans do not want to see women’s sports destroyed. But that’s exactly what Warren is stumping for here.
