Julie Tétart, a heavily-muscled 6’ “3 center for a club team in Monaco, is ripping up France’s Ligue Féminine basketball league (second division) and won Player of the Year, Defensive Player of the Year, and Domestic Player of the Year (whatever that means).
Did you notice the word “Féminine” in the league’s title? That means it’s a women’s league. That in turn leads us to point out something else notable: the player was not born female.
Tétart publicly came out as transgender in October 2021 at the tender age of 29, and had been playing in men's leagues for years previously.
I sure wouldn’t want my daughters to get steamrolled by this, um, basketball player.

There are also a couple of mysteries surrounding the phenom. Why wasn’t this player voted MVP? It seems such an obvious sleight that there are even rumors running around that the coaches who vote for the honor colluded to keep Tétart out of the running:
French trans groups are furious. "Despite top-tier athletic performance on the court during the 2025/2026 season by Julie and Aurore, voters for the Ligue 2 Féminine de Basket Awards deliberately decided not to grant them any awards," activist group TRANSpire cried on Instagram.
Hmm, maybe not so tolerant after all.
Second mystery: why hasn’t the WNBA called for this athlete to join the league? Certainly the player could use their seemingly dominant strength to grab rebounds just as easily in the United States as they do in La France? On Monday, Tetart said, "If they (the WNBA) contact me, I won't say no.”
But they haven’t, have they, Julie? Wonder why.

The whole scenario shines a light on the ridiculous and rampant hypocrisy of men in female athletics. As I’ve opined, most of the female advocates of the twisted practice have not faced it in their sport (I’m looking at you, Simone Biles). Second, males elbowing their way into women’s athletics has mostly been at the high school and college levels in smaller sports.
Just wait till a seven-foot dude who likes to wear make-up starts dominating NCAA women’s basketball; you’ll hear a lot more crying then.
Maybe if Tétart comes over to our shores, we’ll get a similar version of my theoretical seven-footer story. You can bet the lovely ladies of the WNBA wouldn’t like to fall in the stat lines and see awards and championships taken from them. Most of them don’t seem to care about high school girls getting injured in volleyball, but if it starts affecting their bottom lines or they start taking man-powered elbows to the jaw, they’ll likely start singing a different tune.

Outkick founder Clay Travis — who as I wrote Tuesday expertly exposed the league by offering the defending WNBA champion Las Vegas Aces $10 million to go up against a boys' high school state title team of his choice (they’ve suddenly gone quiet and have not responded, naturally) — is at it again and is pushing the idea of bringing Tétart into the league onto a new team which he would call the Nashville Balls. (No, there is no serious discussion about forming such a team, but the idea is funny as heck.)
"If the WNBA is inclusive, then this French all-star, a WNBA team has to sign [Tétart]," Travis told Don't @ Me podcaster Dan Dakich on Wednesday.

The whole debate is a joke and makes a mockery of fairness and logic, which, in my estimation, is at least partly what it was intended to do. Leftists don’t care about an issue until it affects them; then they squeal like stuck pigs.
The sooner we see a similar high-profile, utterly ludicrous situation like they’re seeing in France, the sooner this extremist gender absurdity can be even further exposed and become an (extremely embarrassing) footnote to our history.
