Rumors of That Ugly Trump-Musk Feud Appear to Be 'Greatly Exaggerated' As President Drops Big News

The leftist rags all stood in alignment Thursday with numerous headlines proclaiming that DOGE Chief Elon Musk was leaving the Trump administration and that it was a clear sign that the two were at odds. Democrats and their partners in the media have been breathlessly waiting for a massive feud to break out so they can continue to pimp their favorite narrative, “Trump brings chaos and we’re all going to die.”

A New York Times headline from an article dated Wednesday but updated Thursday read, “A Disillusioned Musk, Distanced From Trump, Says He’s Exiting Washington.” Oh, this must be so bad. I hope they don’t get into a fistfight.

The gossiping class also got all atwitter when Musk said he was not 100 percent happy with the “Big Beautiful Bill” that narrowly passed the Republican controlled House and is now headed to the Senate. But let’s be real about both topics: A) Musk was always scheduled to leave after 130 days due to his designation as a "special government employee" (SGE), and B) Nobody is 100 percent happy with a massive measure such as the BBB; compromises are inevitably made and sausage-making can be an ugly process to witness.

Are Trump and Musk now going to be mortal enemies, a notion that leftist pundits are openly salivating over?

Not so much, according to someone who might know what he’s talking about—President Donald Trump:

Looks like we’ll be seeing them together Friday. They must really hate each other.

Elon Announces Departure From DOGE, Teases What Future Will Bring

Musk seemed bitter, angry and disillusioned in his Wednesday post announcing his departure.  Oh wait, not actually:

Musk, while somehow juggling his duties as CEO of Tesla and SpaceX, has done an absolutely incredible job of exposing and destroying mountains of fraud, waste and abuse in the federal government—and he’s done it at great cost, as he’s been mercilessly maligned by Democrats, while leftist lunatics have torched Tesla vehicles and dealerships. He’s been credibly threatened numerous times. We’ve covered all the DOGE team’s staggering findings here.

And let’s not forget, he’s turned X into one of the most important places for political dialogue that there is, and he fought for free speech after the Biden-Big Tech assault on the First Amendment.

I’m a fan of what he’s done, and I have no problem admitting that, and I wish him success in his goal of bringing human beings to Mars. In a quote often attributed to Mark Twain, the great American author supposedly said after his obituary was published, “The reports of my death are greatly exaggerated.”

It would appear that the reported death of the Elon Musk-Donald Trump friendship/partnership has been greatly exaggerated as well.

DOGE is finding billions of dollars in wasteful spending, and the Democrats are losing their minds as they realize their gravy train and woke projects are coming to an end.
