Professor Alan Dershowitz is one of those confounding guys—like comedian Bill Maher and Pennsylvania Democrat Senator John Fetterman—who keep making sense on certain issues, but then insist they’re still progressive Democrats. To all three I say, how can you still play for that team after all the things you’ve said where you admit that they’re completely corrupt and out of tune with American values?
The professor emeritus and longtime “Hah-vahd” professor still refuses to be labeled as a conservative, even though he admits he’s now persona non grata at his own institution because he occasionally speaks the truth.
Alan Dershowitz, who taught at Harvard Law School for 50 years, said Tuesday on Newsmax that he hasn't been invited back to the school in the 11 years since he became an emeritus professor, as "they only want to hear the view of people who support their narrative."
"I've become essentially persona non grata at Harvard," Dershowitz told Newsmax's "Wake Up America," during an interview in which he accused the Ivy League university of tolerating antisemitism. "Harvard does not want to hear my views on Israel or my views defending [President] Donald Trump against improper lawfare."
That also means he won't be attending Thursday's graduation ceremonies, where he said he expects anti-Israel protests to disrupt the proceedings.
"Harvard is not only tolerating antisemitism in several of its schools… It's actually teaching, encouraging, and fomenting antisemitism."

He's almost never asked back, but when he is, it’s not a comfortable situation:
"The one time I was invited back, my speech had to be moved off campus for fear of my own safety," Dershowitz said. "This is a school I taught at for 50 years, taught 10,000 students. I was one of the most popular professors, but once I defended Donald Trump and started to defend Israel vocally, I have been canceled and cut off from Harvard. So no, I will not be at the Harvard graduation."

Dershowitz seems to agree with Trump that the once-venerable institution has become a bastion of hate and intolerance:
He added that Harvard's schools for public health and divinity should be put "into a kind of receivership where they are under the control of the central administration so they can't be using the money the federal government sends to Harvard to preach this horrible hate."
Harvard's divinity and public health schools teach antisemitism. Trump is trying to stop it. Watch the Dershow live @ 5:30pm est on Rumble and Youtube. This should be a fiery show. Leave a question in the live chat. Here's the Youtube link: https://t.co/dE64mRsFtW

Like many pundits, he argues that the increased rhetoric, much of it emanating from college campuses, inevitably leads to twisted, violent acts like the heartbreaking, cold-blooded murder of two young Israeli embassy staffers by a crazed antisemite:
"The Divinity School recently elected as class marshal one of the thugs who attacked a Jewish student and harassed them on campus and was supposed to be disciplined for it," said Dershowitz. "The Harvard Law School gave a $65,000 scholarship to another one of the students who harassed and tried to assault a Jewish student at Harvard. These schools are teaching things like intersectionality, critical race theory, and DEI, all of which are incubators for antisemitism."
He also said the teaching and support of antisemitism at Harvard and elsewhere are driving violence, such as the killings last week of two Israeli embassy staffers in Washington, D.C.
The famed lawyer did in fact disgustedly break with the Democrat party in September 2024—but then he declared himself an independent.
Take the next step, Alan.

I applaud Dershowitz for speaking out and alienating his former far-left Martha’s Vineyard friends, but I can’t for the life of me understand why he continues to play for the wrong team. You, Alan, as much as anybody, have exposed the rot at the core of the Democrat party. Don’t give me this “independent” cop-out—come over to the Dark Side. You would be a valued team member, fighting the extremist progressive/Democrat poison that threatens to ruin our country (and almost did under Joe Biden).
Join the conservative team, Professor. Stop pretending you are part of or are wanted by the modern Democrat party—you’re not. They’re way past reason and logic, and they have no use for you. Get off the Crazy Train, and straighten out Maher and Fetterman and bring them with you.
It's all hands-on-deck time, Dersh, because we truly are facing “a threat to Democracy” from these people.
