Biden of All People Mocks Trump Over Mental Acuity, Trump Says "I'll Let You Know When I Go Bad"

President Joe Biden has at least two X accounts -- or at least his handlers do. @POTUS and @JoeBiden are both known for posting cringe-worthy messages that are often devoid of reality.

But of all the people who should not be making fun of someone else's mental agility, it's Joe Biden. He is a walking gaffe machine -- sometimes a falling gaffe machine -- and is prone to speaking gibberish, talking to people who are in another state, and having death match smackdowns with his teleprompter.

But somebody on Team Biden decided it would be a good idea to bring attention to the subject of mental fitness:

Biden is referring to the fact that Trump said "Haley" several times at a rally Friday when he apparently meant Pelosi. A mistake to be sure, but Biden has about 15 of those every speech.

Speaking of GOP presidential candidate Nikki Haley, she too jumped on the error and claimed Trump is no longer as sharp as he was while president. However, at 52, Haley is 25 years younger than the 77-year-old former president and has shown no signs of mental decline, so it's a lot less comical than when Biden tries to capitalize on it.

Trump for his part has heard the noise and addressed the criticisms at another NH rally, this one on Saturday:

“A lot of times I’ll say that President Obama is doing a lousy job, meaning that Obama is running the show,” Trump said during his rally. “They’ll say, Donald Trump doesn’t know who our president is. No, no. A few months ago I took a cognitive test my doctor gave me, I said give me a cognitive test just we can, you know, and I aced it. I also took one when I was in the White House.”

“I’ll let you know when I go bad,” Trump added.

Watch:

He also said that his age is really not an issue:

He also refuted Haley’s claims, saying he does not mind being his age, possibly referencing when the former South Carolina governor called for “mandatory competency” tests for politicians over 75.

“They always say, like Haley, she talks about, ‘yeah, we don’t need 80-year-old,” Trump said. “Well, I don’t mind being 80, but I am 77, that’s a big difference.”

Whether or not you're a Trump fan, he regularly speaks up to 90 minutes or more, oftentimes off the cuff, and I've never seen him drift into a stupor as we have on multiple occasions with Biden. Trump may have flaws that opponents can legitimately criticize him about, but Biden's challenging him on this issue is just plain laughable.

All it really does is remind us of just how seriously mentally compromised the sitting president is.
