Jim Acosta, everyone’s favorite “War on Truth” diarist over at fake news network CNN, never lets us down here at RedState. At least a couple times a month, he throws his opinions willy-nilly into stories that most actual journalists would just report the facts on. Often, he beclowns himself during White House press briefings against a more than worthy opponent, Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany, as my colleague Bonchie wrote on Tuesday. And sure enough, Acosta didn’t let me down earlier today. Let’s set the scene first.
Thursday morning, the President and First Lady visited the steps of the Supreme Court, in solemn tribute to the late Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, who lies in repose there until Friday.
Watch how the assembled crowd treats what should be a nation’s moment of silent reflection with her Commander in Chief:

After the First Couple departed, the President began the journey to North Carolina for his next campaign rally. But he stopped for the media gaggle.

This is where we pick up Acosta’s “journalisming,” which dovetails with some, trending Twitter hashtags of the leftist horde today: #VoteHimOut2020 and #VoteHimOut.
He wrote on Twitter:
Leaving for NC, Trump claimed he couldn't really hear booing at SCOTUS today: "I think that was just a political chant. We could hardly hear it from where we were..Somebody said there was some chanting. But they were right next to the media. But we could hardly hear too much."

It’s really something when the media shows us who they are. They truly believe the opinions their friends and colleagues share with them (and shout in the streets, as they riot and loot America’s cities) are the majority. And they’re wrong. Could Jim Acosta’s tears be any more delicious?
A contributor to RedState, the Peabody award-winning actor and international film star, Nick Searcy, agrees:

On a related note, Searcy commented on something Ben Shapiro tweeted on Day 2 of the media’s “Trump is an authoritarian who won’t give up power if he loses in November” narrative.
The actor wrote: “[Trump] said the exact right thing to drive them insane.”
