Joe Biden and his dog, Commander, are a perfect match.
The German Shepherd, during his White House residency, bit more than two dozen Secret Service agents. And now that the Bidens' White House lease is terminating, the bitter Joe is going out with an angry array of actions that demean the nation’s highest office.
Come to think of it, Joe Biden’s miscreant son, Hunter, fit right into that crowd.
Near the end of every presidency, media tend to talk and write a lot about what the legacy of that particular chief executive will be. That’s because those media types won’t last long enough to see what real historians eventually opine about the policies, actions, and behaviors of that term in office.
Most everything that a departing commander in chief does or says is collected and analyzed by media as parts of the spectrum of his premature legacy.
What will history say and think about the about-to-be-former president’s temporary tenure in the People’s House?
No one needs to wait for history this time.
Although fully six percent of Americans still rate Biden’s presidency as “outstanding,”
The story of Joe Biden’s disgusting legacy has been written already for all but the last eight of the 1,461 days in his reign of error.
But wait! Biden’s pretend press secretary assures his few remaining loyalists, and the rest of us, that there’s still more to come.
Most likely, they are additional pardons, preemptive ones for bad things we don’t yet know about, but that Joe, Dr. Jill, and their unidentified handlers fear will come out during the upcoming fumigation process.
Biden has canceled his pilgrimage to the Vatican before Jan. 20. Forgiveness does seem premature.
But we have been promised two more fumbled Biden speeches – one on foreign affairs and a traditional farewell address, which should come from the locked Oval Office to avoid interruptions by overjoyed audience applause.
Now that Jimmy Carter has joined his Rosalynn in a more peaceful place free of earthly concerns, Joe Biden can assume his rightful seat on the tarnished throne of Worst President in Modern Times, possibly ever.
And those folks who fell for his 2020 promise of a “return to normal” can try to forgive themselves for sticking the rest of us with him because, oh, worry, worry, Orange man bad.
One DC newspaper, now experiencing well-deserved corporate convulsions, joyfully tracked thousands of alleged lies and untruths during Republican Donald Trump’s 1,461 days.
Good thing it didn’t try that with Democrat Biden. No calculator can count high enough to total his fables and lies, sometimes repeated during the same speech, “It’s the God’s truth.”
The first one in the presidential phase, of course, was his return to normal promise. Biden has now set the bar high for the volume of lies in Washington, which is really saying something for the culture of expediency in that place.
They say if you tell a lie often enough, people will come to believe it. Joe Biden lied so often people came to expect it.
Democrats used to aver he was as sharp as a tack. Nancy Pelosi, Chuckie Schumer, Jill, Kamala Harris, and all the other willing accomplices who put career and ambition ahead of the country they swore to protect.
People who read RedState and the entire Townhall Media corral these past few years were keenly aware of Biden’s worsening decay and its national security implications.
We’re all aware now that this sharp-as-a-tack president may not know what day it is. No matter. Every one of his co-conspirators will have to live with their deceits, just as we do. And the Biden legacy will document it all.
Then, of course, there are complicit media. If they didn’t know, which is as hard to believe now as their “news reports,” they sure didn’t try to find out. Career ambitions and personal preferences took precedence over their constitutionally-protected duties as watchdogs.
This isn’t just about politics. Russia’s Vladimir Putin harnessed his territorial ambitions between 2015 and 2021.
However, one month after a besotted Biden took office, Putin began preparations to invade Ukraine. A year later, he did. And now we're coming up on an estimated million dead, wounded, or missing people on both sides because one man wants an empire.
To his credit, Biden has assembled and sent more than $100 billion in aid to help Ukraine maintain its independence, as have European NATO allies.
This is not totally altruistic, however. Halting Putin’s empire-building by force decays Russia’s military at no cost in U.S. or allies’ lives, thwarting future Putin aggression that would instantly involve U.S. military. And some 90 percent of Washington’s aid for Ukraine weapons, ammunition, and equipment actually gets spent in the U.S.
Biden, however, slow-walked each package of aid and weapons, which virtually guaranteed the current fighting stalemate.
In other ways, Biden has looked lost and befuddled on the international stage, missing meetings, sounding confused, wandering off. When Russia aggressively downed a U.S. drone in international air space, Biden said nothing.
When China sent a massive intelligence-gathering station suspended on an immense balloon to drift over military bases and the entire country, Biden did nothing...until the craft’s mission was complete.
Worst was his overdue troop exit from Afghanistan, which he lethally botched. Biden altered Pentagon planning, declined to evacuate thousands of Americans, and then had to send troops back in, some of whom died on duty.
The results, which Biden still calls “an extraordinary success,” were disastrous for the U.S. image abroad, emboldening adversaries and rattling allies, whom he did not alert.
He shattered the country’s energy independence beginning on Day One, surging fuel prices. He maintained we would not need fossil fuels because of his electric vehicle mandate, which wouldn’t take effect until the 82-year-old Biden turned 92.
He drained the nation’s Strategic Petroleum Reserve by nearly 200 million barrels. And has not refilled it despite his promise to do so.
On Day One, Biden also lifted border controls his predecessor had negotiated with Mexico, igniting a tsunami of illegal immigration totaling an estimated 10 million. The Democrat appointed Harris to address the crisis. She did nothing, either. That seems like the plan.
The financial, sociological, educational, and law enforcement problems that he has created will live on nationally decades longer than Biden does.
A list of Biden screw-ups would consume more space than I have, or you would read. The vaccine mandates that cost thousands their jobs, including 8,000 service volunteers at a time of slow recruiting.
The screw-up directly affecting most Americans was an historic level of inflation, the worst in four decades, caused by the wild spending of trillions Biden engineered to please his party’s progressives.
Today, Biden claims inflation was nine percent when he came into office, and now it’s down around three percent. In truth, nine percent was where it went after his spending. Inflation was under two percent when Biden arrived.
Whether this is his dementia or lying doesn’t matter. He’s wrong.
In the past year, and especially since party bigs like Pelosi and Schumer booted him off the 2024 ticket, Biden has gone overboard. Spending hundreds of billions of taxpayer funds to erase college debts.
After often promising not to, Biden recently pardoned his son of all his federal felony convictions plus an 11-year-long blanket pardon for any other crimes unearthed by, say, a successor seeking retribution for years of transparent lawfare waged against him.
Because Biden says he’s completely against the death penalty on moral grounds, this president also commuted the executions of every murderer and child rapist on federal Death Row. All, that is, except three multiple murderers who apparently do not qualify for Biden's moral concern because sparing them would raise too much of a PR stink.
Biden has recently added layers of new regulations and tried to lock up hundreds of thousands of federal acres from any oil/gas drilling.
Biden sullied the Presidential Medal of Freedom by including in the latest batch Hillary Clinton, who abandoned four Americans to die in Benghazi, and George Soros, the Democrat donor and billionaire demon who spends his fortune undermining American institutions.

On Friday, Biden granted unusual protection against deportation to some 800,000 immigrants. And there’s talk of him issuing blanket pardons for unknown crimes that may or may not have been committed by Biden cronies complicit in his activities.
"At every turn the last year-and-a-half,” Politico’s Jonathan Martin said on ‘Meet the Press,’ Biden “has taken the path of the most indulgent turn for himself."
Last summer, Biden agreed to relinquish the party’s nomination if he could complete his term.
Think about that Democrat deal a serious minute. That gave zero consideration to the country’s good. So, physically and mentally, Joe Biden was completely unfit to be president after Jan. 20. But these past six months he was totally good to go.
The Bidens remain angry about that and are not speaking to Pelosi or Harris. No one cares. But Joe will maintain until his final breath that he could have beaten Trump in November. No one will be listening to that, either.
Biden has also taken almost 40 percent of his presidential term on vacation – that’s 585 days off, or 29 weeks per year. Pretty good for $400K per annum.
Soon, the Big Guy will begin getting his $200,000 annual presidential pension. And don’t forget the Senate pension.
Starting the afternoon of Jan. 20, the newly-former but still angry president can take 100 percent of his days on vacation. No one will care as the bitter man walks alone on the wet beach with Commander, who might still be angry, too, some days.
Maybe they can bite each other.
