Pro-choice group Texas Equal Access Fund has created candles for Christmas with a bit of winterland wonder.

The hot pink, purple, sparkly gold, and teal candles feature unicorns accompanied by the declaration “Abortions are Magical.”

And if you’re wondering how the magic occurs, here’s an explanation from the group’s Facebook page:

Abortions are an option for people who don’t want to be pregnant, plain and simple. Access to abortion care allows people to decide when to start a family. They provide new beginnings for people trying to create a future for themselves that may have been unimaginable without their abortion. Abortions help people prioritize their own physical and mental health.

Presto:

Abortions are magical for most people who have them and refuting that just increases stigma around abortion. They are health care, self care, and community care.

The candles are party favors for the organization’s…wait for it…holiday party, and they’re meant to honor those who devote themselves to the cause:

Getting our holiday party favors ready! Every year we honor our volunteers and make sure they get a token of appreciation at our annual holiday party.

It’s unclear as to whether the candles can be purchased by outsiders, but if you’re looking for something woke with a wick this holiday season, I highly suggest you check out Etsy’s feminist prayer candles. The 8-inch intercessors crown sainthood upon religious figures such as Elizabeth Warren and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. Get yours now.

Abortion and Christmas  may seem strange bedfellows, but the combo’s not exactly new: In December of 2008, Planned Parenthood offered gift certificates for that special someone.

A decade later, PP encouraged folks to celebrate the Season of Giving by donating in Mike Pence’s name.

Lastly, if you’re fascinated by the mixture of abortion and supernatural power over natural forces, there’s more where that came from. You won’t find a unicorn, but the girl does have pink hair.

And there’s a fairy, with purple wings.

Abracadabra:
