On Friday, anti-Israel (here), pro-Shariah law (here), Farrakhan-lovin’ (here) Women’s March chief Linda Sarsour lashed out at Jews for calling out newly-elected congresswoman Ilhan Omar’s anti-Semitism.
Linda accused the Jews of having a loyalty problem:
We need YOU.
Add your name and please post a message on all social media in support of Congresswoman-elect Ilhan Omar. She’s being attacked for saying that she supports BDS (Boycott Divestment Sanctions) and the right for people to engage in constitutionally protected freedoms. This is not only coming from the right-wing but some folks who masquerade as progressives but always choose their allegiance to Israel over their commitment to democracy and free speech.
You don’t have to support BDS and have every right not to but we cannot stand by idly while a brave Black Muslim American woman is targeted for saying she will uphold the constitution of the United States of America as a member of the US Congress.
She is the kind of unapologetic leader we have been waiting for.
#IStandWithIlhan and so should you.
Prior to the midterms, Minnesota candidate Omar said she did not support the “BDS” (Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions) movement against Israel, making that clear to the Jewish Journal:
“[It isn’t] helpful in getting that two-state solution. … I think the particular purpose for [BDS] is to make sure that there is pressure, and I think that pressure really is counteractive. Because in order for us to have a process of getting to a two-state solution, people have to be willing to come to the table and have a conversation about how that is going to be possible and I think that stops the dialogue.”
However, exemplifying the worst politics has to offer, within days of her election win, her campaign told the Muslim Girl website she’s in favor of the practice:
“Ilhan believes in and supports the BDS movement, and has fought to make sure people’s right to support it isn’t criminalized. She does however, have reservations on the effectiveness of the movement in accomplishing a lasting solution.”
The Anti-Defamation League responded with concern:
This is alarming. BDS doesn't just criticize Israel's gov., it denies its right to exist as a Jewish State. @IlhanMN also said she supports a two-state solution. Rep-Elect Omar, you owe it to your new constituents to clarify your views https://t.co/KkTFFfuPu8

For a better understanding of Omar, consider that she once called Israel an “apartheid regime.” In 2012, the Somalia-born Muslim claimed Israel had “hypnotized the world” so that it would ignore its “evil doings.”
Still, Linda Sarsour excoriated any Jews who don’t support Omar, accusing them of dueling loyalties.
Even some on the Left shamed Linda in response:
Really, really, really disappointed to see this canard of dual loyalties from @lsarsour. I don't know if she's subtweeting my piece which actually defended @IlhanMN (https://t.co/84rOBEZAwf) but I am pretty upset by this. What a betrayal of the intersectional ideal. pic.twitter.com/e3JfdTn0W2

Batya just argued that Jews should set aside their reservations about the Women's March anti-Semitism and stand with Sarsour and others for the sake of social justice. And Sarsour responds by calling her a dual-loyalist.
There really is no bottom for Sarsour.

Linda Sarsour is now openly saying that U.S. Jews secretly work for Israel against American ideals, which is a classic anti-Semitic libel. But don't take it from me, take it from David Duke and Louis Farrakhan. pic.twitter.com/t9woMlXnLw

Linda Sarsour clearly has a major problem with Israel. It seems clear that Ihan Omar does as well. The small and threatened country is a powerful U.S. ally, and its preservation should be highly valued. As the Left migrates further from what once was termed “liberalism” into the dark waters of anti-Americanism (here), counter-culturalism, racism (here, here, and here) and fascistic ideology (here), we would do well to be aware of the worldviews possessed by those who lead us. Or we may find ourselves living in a world we never dared think was possible.
