On Thursday, Maxine Waters had a lot to say about the suspicious mailings to big-time Democrats (including her) Wednesday.

Maxine — who, incidentally, is insane (here, here, and here) — had this to say to Blavity:

“I think the President of the United States should take responsibility for the kind of violence that we are seeing for the first time in different ways. I think the President of the United States has been dog-whistling to his constituency, making them believe that their problems are caused by ‘those people over there.’ And I think they’re acting in a way that they think the President wants them to do and the way he wants them to act.”

Waters — who, incidentally, is an absurdly overt hypocrite of gargantuan proportion (here) — rattled off this previously:

“There are those that said we lacked civility when I got up and talked about the President’s cabinet and I said, ‘If you see ’em anywhere, if you see ’em at a restaurant, if you see ’em in a department store, even at a gasoline station, just tell ’em, ‘You’re not welcome here or anywhere.’ … And so, it frightened a lot of people. And, of course, the lying President said that I had threatened all of his constituents. … I did not threaten his constituents, his supporters. I do that all the time, but I didn’t do it that time.”

And there was also this (here):

“Let’s make sure we show up wherever we have to show up. And if you see anybody from that Cabinet in a restaurant, in a department store, at a gasoline station, you get out and you create a crowd. And you push back on them. And you tell them they’re not welcome anymore, anywhere. We’ve got to get the children connected to their parents. We don’t know what damage has been done to these children. All that we know is they’re in cages. They’re in prisons. They’re in jails. I don’t care what they call it, that’s where they are and Mr. President, we will see you every day, every hour of the day, everywhere that we are to let you know you cannot get away with this.”

Nonetheless, she spoke to Blavity as someone suffering significant memory issues:

“He, in his own way, really does do a lot to promote violence. Now they’re trying to turn it on us, just because some women were outside the legislature when Kavanaugh was being considered for confirmation, and they were opposing him. … He is expert at lying and deceiving, and, of course, encouraging people, in his own way, to be violent, or to be racist, or to be separatist.”

Then Maxine threw out that all-time stupidest of politician blubbering madness — the ol’ “defining issue of our time” malarkey:

“I think it’s the worst thing to ever happen to us, to have a president of this nature.”

Oooookay.

If only Maxine would take her own advice:

“[O]f course, we must be wise; we must not be foolish and act in foolish ways.”

Too late.
