Deal-Again's Island: Trump and Kim Jong-un May Take a Buddy Trip to Palm Beach

Well, as for now, the North Korean summit is still on course. And not only that, but Kim Jong-un may soon be playing a round of goof — oh, sorry — golf, with President Donald Trump…in the Sunshine State.

On June 12, at the Capella Hotel on Singapore’s Sentosa Island, Trump and Kim will be sitting down to shoot the international breeze.

Also present at the meeting will be Secretary of State Mike Pompeo; chief of staff John Kelly; national security adviser John Bolton; and top Korea expert for the CIA, Andrew Kim, among others.

Missing from the assembly will be Defense Secretary James Mattis and Joy Behar’s favorite religious guy, ol’ Vice President Mike Pence.

Things seem hunky dory at the moment; however, according to Bloomberg, “The president is determined to walk out of the meeting if it doesn’t go well.”

But wait — there’s more…

“If the first meeting goes well, there will be further events that day and perhaps even on June 13.”

Kim may need to pop a Xanax:

“U.S. officials believe Kim is extremely worried about security at the summit and is fearful of assassination attempts, according to two people familiar with the matter.”

But if all goes well, something further incredible could take place:

“Alternatively, Trump is toying with the idea of offering Kim a follow-up summit at his Mar-a-Lago resort in Palm Beach, Florida — perhaps in the fall — if the two men hit it off.”

If they “hit it off!” Oh, please let the photo-op of Kim Jong-un in a cheesy Hawaii shirt in lieu one of of his Hillary Clinton is a Communist suits happen!

What a step toward peace a trip to Palm Beach for bosom buddies Don and Kim would be.

Sadly, there is absolutely no doubt the mainstream media would take away the victory. They’d surely tout it as just “one more” evil deed on the part of this dastardly President.

Do you think a North Korean dictator soaking up sun in Florida with the Leader of the Free World is a good idea? Or is it getting too cozy with Kim Jong-un? Let me know in the Comments. Personally, I think diplomacy is generally better than conflict; and, at least at this point, Kim has not acted out against us to the point where an invitation should be off the table.
