'Angry Mom' Gets Down to Business Against Pro-Hamas Encampment After Northwestern Coddles Agitators

As history has shown us time and time again, sometimes it only takes a small group or even just one to make a difference. The latter is exactly what happened at Northwestern University when one fed-up mom recently took action against a campus pro-Hamas encampment in the face of administrators coddling the agitators.

An undated video clip is making the rounds showing a woman who describes herself as an "angry mom" entering the encampment, allegedly on Mother's Day, and proceeding to remove propaganda items.

As she did it, she was talking to the people videotaping her, telling them she had Jewish friends who had gone to Northwestern. She also asked those taking the video if they knew what Hamas terrorists did to Israeli civilians on October 7th.

At one point she asked them where "the real men" were and openly wondered why the people with the cameras weren't helping her take down the encampment. She encouraged them to do so several times.

"Just look at your generation," she later observed while continuing to take posters down. "You just sit there and video things. I'm so sad."

While she is all of us in wondering sometimes where "the real men" are during these things, she'll be happy to know that they have been showing up in some instances in the form of the frat dudes at higher education institutions like UNC-Chapel Hill, the University of Chicago, the University of Washington, and Louisiana State University.

Real men - and women - have also been showing up in a big way at the administrative level, as we've seen at some campus encampments in Florida, Georgia, and North Carolina, where leaders at those universities have said in no uncertain terms that the rules will be followed and that protesters who cross the line will be subject to arrest and/or suspension from school grounds.

For instance, UNC-CH interim Chancellor Lee Roberts personally walked to the flag pole on campus and re-raised the American flag over it after demonstrators had previously flown the Palestinian one.

In an interview done shortly afterward, Roberts vowed "That flag will stay there as long as I am chancellor."

And at the University of Florida, spokesman Steve Orlando said the "University of Florida is not a daycare, and we do not treat protesters like children — they knew the rules, they broke the rules, and they’ll face the consequences."

UF's president, former Sen. Ben Sasse (R-NE), backed up the statement with an op/ed in the Wall Street Journal.

"...universities must say what they mean and then do what they say," Sasse wrote. "Empty threats make everything worse. Any parent who has endured a 2-year-old’s tantrum gets this."

The good news is that the "real men" and women on this issue are indeed out there, you just have to know where to look.
