President Trump is far more comfortable living in a bubble, no doubt about it.

By now, you’ve probably heard of the dust-up from Trump’s Florida rally reference to something happening in Sweden the night before.

Half of social media is lit up with those pointing to Trump being the biggest conveyor of “fake news” in the public eye, right now, since he seemed to be alluding to some sort of terrorist attack (that never happened).

The other half are Trumpidian devotees that want to look at Sweden as a whole. Crime has escalated, but Sweden doesn’t talk about it. Something could have happened. Trump has created a new realm of reality, where naming specific places, times, and events are no longer absolutes. The reality is whatever Trump says is reality.

Something.

I honestly can’t even keep up with the desperate contortions to make it seem like Trump didn’t blatantly lie.

The state-run media… aka… Fox News are in the second camp, desperately fluffing for Trump and whatever psychotic thing he dribbles, they back up.

Sean Hannity even began his show last night proclaiming the media as enemies of the American people, proving that Trump’s bootlicks will parrot whatever Trump says, and that they won’t rest until there is total civil war in this nation.

To that point, the former prime minister of Sweden has spoken up about the focus on his nation that Trump has stirred up.

“That he blames it on Fox News, well, we expect the president of the United States to have sources of information that goes beyond Fox News,” former Swedish prime minister Carl Bildt said Monday on CNN.

Oh, yeah. That part.

Trump is blaming Fox News for what he said in Florida.

“When you look at what’s happening in Germany, when you look at what’s happening last night in Sweden — Sweden!” he said during the rally.

“Who would believe this? Sweden! They took in large numbers, they’re having problems like they never thought possible.”

He later clarified his comments, confirming speculation that a Fox News story about immigration and crime rates that aired on Tucker Carlson’s show was the source of his statement.

Seriously, the last time we had a president who was so intellectually lazy that he claimed to know nothing about anything, except for what he got from watching the news was –                            last month.

Hhmmm…

Meet the new boss. Same as the old boss.

I remember when Trump was at war with Fox News, as well. I’m pretty sure that was all an act.

Either Trump is going to have to stop his war with the press, or he’s going to have to be better informed himself, or he’s going to have to learn to articulate, because what he’s doing now is not working.
