1. Conservative. But Also Republican.

I admit it. I am guilty of it. Knee deep in primary season battling to get conservatives elected against a bunch of squishy picks, it is sometimes difficulty to see the endgame.Friends, the endgame is simple — Republicans taking back Congress and beating Obama. Either that is the end game or else it is the end of America as we know it. The Democrats have already done enough damage. We can’t let them keep at it.There is a very real difference between the parties. One party stakes its claim with freedom; the other with equality. And while “equality” sounds good, the only way to keep us all equal is to punish the successful, tear down the creative, and shut up generators of wealth and freedom, keeping us all piled up together on the government run safety net unwilling to let us merely try to succeed. I am with freedom. Therefore, I am with the Republicans.Why am I talking about this? 2. Barack Obama’s Deficit

There was a USA Today story the other day that taxes in the United States are ridiculously low now. The basic gist of the story, pushed by leftwing groups who want everyone to bow down and face Washington for its “gifts” — never mind that it is your money to begin with — is that there is no conceivable way anybody in their right mind could think taxes are still too high.This comes as Bush tax cuts are set to expire and sets up the argument that maybe they should just expire.The second salvo on this front is this story breaking overnight that we’re running a huge deficit this month. Take both stories together and the conclusion for the left and media is that taxes need to go up. 3. Obama Nominee Donald Berwick’s Radical Agenda

“Any health care funding plan that is just equitable civilized and humane must, must redistribute wealth from the richer among us to the poorer and the less fortunate. 4. Illegal Immigration Proponents Support Slavery

Illegal immigration is another area where the true racist and misogynistic tendencies of Liberals/Leftists appear. They have turned a blind eye to things like human trafficking as well as other extremely harmful aspects of illegal immigration, not only to our own economy, but to the people coming here illegally themselves.Instead, they are currently more concerned with demonizing the state of Arizona and it’s new illegal immigration law than they are concerned with protecting the rights of citizens. They’ve also proven that they care not one whit about the people coming here illegally. 5. Everything You Need to Know About Why Voting Rand Paul Makes Sense

Trey Grayson has attacked Rand Paul for not wanting to bring home the bacon.Trey Grayson has attacked Rand Paul for wanting to vote for balanced budgets. What the heck type of Republican opposes balanced budgets? Apparently, only Trey Grayson.Grayson also defended the federal government’s role in Kentucky’s education and also the Agriculture Department and all of the Washington dollars flowing from the corrupt and over-bloated farm bill.And lastly? When Rand Paul attacked TARP, Trey Grayson kept his mouth shut. Grayson has never actually said definitively if he would or would not have supported TARP.Please click here for the rest of the post.

6. Indiana On My Mind (and Kentucky too)

So Marlin Stutzman did not make it across the finish line and Dan Coats did. Well, we at RedState have always maintained that we are conservatives in the primary and Republican in the General. So we’re all in for Dan Coats.But along the way there is something more. Activists need to get their boots on the ground and get into the process to help people like Coats, but more importantly to help themselves.Anyone can be an activists.
