Alex Parker wrote an article containing an interview on “Meet the Press” with Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) discussing impeaching Donald Trump where she claimed Trump is defying the U.S. Constitution and rule of law without giving any examples, but she also claims in the interview that impeaching Trump is part of Democrats making peoples lives better. Eric Swalwell (D-CA) was called out on Fox News by Chris Wallace for being so incredibly wrong about Russian collusion which resulted in Swalwell doing his finest dance around the facts I’ve ever seen, but there is something similar to the Democrat talking points here. In both instances these Democrats seem to be leaning in to what their greater narrative is going to be heading in to 2020, the laws just aren’t good enough.

It is my belief that the Democrats will increase their fevered pitch about “the fate of Democracy” and how Russians are around every corner and hiding under your bed to convince as many people as they can that Trump violated laws that haven’t, but MUST, be written. This is so Orwellian that if I wasn’t seeing the writing on the walls I would think it’s a parody. We already know that the Democrats are attempting to re investigate what has already been investigated, while also opening additional investigations into the President just to find ANYTHING they can to re-litigate the 2016 election.
