The native people of Europe are suffering an invasion, and this time, it's not coming from elsewhere in Europe, as has happened regularly throughout that troubled continent's history. Nor is it coming from Mongolia, or in longboats from Scandinavia. This time the invasion is coming from the Middle East and Africa, and the invaders are coming unarmed but in great numbers. The one thing this current wave of arrivals does have in common with previous invasions is that they seem to be mostly young, unaccompanied men.
The governments of the United Kingdom, Ireland, and other countries have been more than generous with these new arrivals. The governments are giving them food, housing, and medical care, all at the taxpayers' expense.
Now, it's looking more and more like the taxpayers have had enough. Case in point: A flash protest at the UK port of Dover, in opposition to the boatloads of "migrants" arriving there.
There was a certain inevitability about what happened in Dover on Saturday. Several hundred protesters, many masked, blocked roads around the port, traffic backed up, the police arrived and engaged with them and, after a few hours, everyone went home. No arrests were made. The immediate temptation is to treat this as another example of the disruptive protest which has become familiar in Britain over the past decade, except this time coming from the Right rather than the Left. There is some truth in that, although it misses the more interesting point. What happened at Dover was a reaction, in both senses of that rather unfashionable word, and it has been a very long time coming.
This was indeed a reaction; a reaction to the waves of immigration from the Third World, the arrivals of people who, left unchecked, will change the character of the British Isles forever. Oh, yes, those motley islands have been invaded many times before; the very word "England" comes from a wave of invaders from Anglia. Britain was invaded by people from Norway, Denmark, Saxony, and Normandy; all of these people became part of what Britain is.
But all of those people were European. They became part of the tapestry that became what the UK is today. These new invaders show no sign of wanting to change, to adopt British culture and mores, to become British. They're coming for the free stuff, and seem to have little notion of adopting the standards and practices of their new home.
That's why the British people are protesting. The same holds in Ireland.
On Wednesday (October 22), over 20 people were arrested after protests turned violent for the third consecutive night outside a hotel housing asylum seekers near Dublin. Authorities reported 23 arrests as demonstrators threw bottles, bricks, and fireworks at police officers near the Citywest Hotel in Saggart, southwest of Dublin. This follows a similar protest the previous evening, which saw six people arrested and a police van set alight. Monday's protest had been peaceful. The unrest was sparked by reports claiming that a 26-year-old man, allegedly involved in the sexual assault of a 10-year-old girl near the hotel, was an asylum seeker. Authorities have not confirmed these claims.
A 10-year-old girl. When you import the Third World, you become the Third World, and you should expect Third World behavior. That's what Ireland is getting. That's what the Irish people are growing angry over. And now, the Irish authorities are cracking down on the protesters.
Minister for Justice Jim O'Callaghan condemned the ‘thuggish violence’ and warned that more arrests could follow. Irish Prime Minister Micheal Martin also criticised the violent protests and the ‘vile abuse’ directed at police, describing the assault on the child as 'extremely serious'.
Now, there are a few hopeful signs. France has, in recent months, started to intercept some of the "migrant" boats trying to cross the English Channel, after a new deal with the UK.
French units funded by the UK as part of the landmark new UK-France deal have hit the ground running in their first 3 months.
According to information from the French authorities, officers prevented 185 small boat events between 27 April and 2 August.
This included action to stop launches, seize equipment including boats, engines and lifejackets, and arrest smugglers.
This means 61% of all small boat events were stopped across this time, an increase in the event prevention rate of nearly 5% compared to the same time period in 2025.
But it's not enough. It's nowhere near enough. The Continent has already had the gates open for too long. Large parts of Europe, large parts of European cities and even small towns, are no longer European.
The tide is turning. There is this deal with the French authorities over the "small boat events," and interestingly, there is the rise of what Europe calls a "far-right" party in Germany, the anti-immigration Alternative for Germany (AfD) party; mind you, Mitt Romney would be considered "far-right" in Europe.
Things are changing, but it may well be too little, too late. Not only are the invaders well-established, generally in their own enclaves, but the European people simply aren't having children. The Old World is suffering a demographic catastrophe; as the old saying goes, the future belongs to those who show up for it, and it's looking like Europe is opting out. And, once again, look to Europe to get a glimpse of our own future, because what is happening now in Europe, the American left will try to implement here tomorrow; and, in places like Dearborn and Hamtramck in Michigan, in Minneapolis, and even in some communities in Texas, it's already happening, right here, right now.
