Late on Wednesday, the United States Central Command (CENTCOM), which handles military operations in the Middle East, announced another rain of attacks on Iranian facilities in response to that country's targeting of shipping in the Strait of Hormuz.

At the direction of the Commander in Chief, U.S. Central Command forces have started conducting additional strikes against Iran to further degrade their ability to threaten freedom of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz. The United States is holding Iran accountable for recent unjustified aggression against commercial shipping and civilian crews freely navigating a vital international waterway.
It looks like Iran is already having a very bad night.

Earlier, the Secretary of War, Pete Hegseth, dropped some hints as to what may be hit.
.@SECWAR “Radar sites, surveillance sites, anything used to harass shipping in the Strait of Hormuz—anything they thought they had rebuilt or any capability they were using—was a target last night.

Here's how that conversation went:
President Trump: Tell them about last night.
Secretary of War Hegseth: Yes, sir. Last night, as you said, a lot of small craft that they (Iran) were trying to harass shipping with, that was a big part of what we targeted. Underground facilities where they were storing drones, missiles, coastal defense sites, radar sites, surveillance sites, anything used to harass shipping in the Strait of Hormuz. So, anything they thought they had rebuilt, or any capability they were using, was a target last night. And, tonight, if we need to, on your order, Mr. President, we will hit even more and even deeper. Because that's the contest.
President Trump: And we may put down the blockade. We may put it back. The blockade. And it will only be a blockade for Iran. Anybody else can have whatever they want. Of course, they'll drop some mines if they can. If they can do it. But it's hard, because we've taken out those little boats now. With the same weapon we used to take out the drug lords, and the boats coming in by sea. Think of it. 97 percent, for years, we had fentanyl and all the other drugs coming in from different countries. Including Venezuela. And those. they'd, you know, arrest them, they'd bring them to a court, they'd be released, and they'd be back in another boat. 97 percent, what was done in the past, had no impact. 97 percent drugs down coming in by sea. And now we're going to start doing it by land. The land is easy, but we had to do sea first. And nobody, I mean, I think the three percent of the people that still do that, I think they're the bravest people in the world. They may be. We should probably give them a medal for bravery. And we're using the exact same missile to take out the mine-dropping, they call them mine-droppers, but we have minesweepers.
With regards to the crews of the drug boats, it seems pretty likely that their courage comes in the form of a 9mm pistol pointed at the heads of their families. But some interesting parallels are being drawn here. President Trump notes that the next step in intercepting drugs is on land - a boots-on-the-ground approach. Could he be hinting that this is the next step for Iran, as well?
Whether that be the case or not, the game's afoot, and our forces are once more proving that there is no problem that cannot be solved with a suitable application of high explosives.
Editor's Note: For decades, former presidents have been all talk and no action. Now, Donald Trump is eliminating the threat from Iran once and for all.
