In today's episode of "Yes, this is what we voted for," we see that the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and Florida authorities have carried out the wonderfully-named "Operation Dirtbag", rounding up 150 illegal alien predators. Many of these goblins had records of sex offenses. Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem took to Fox News with details.
Our partnership with Florida is absolutely amazing. This operation was called "Operation Criminal Return." I call it "Operation Dirtbag," because these individuals were sex offenders, but not just sex offenders. They targeted children. So, sexual assault, battery, attempted homicide, these 150 individuals will be gone of of our streets, our kids will be safer, and this partnership with Governor DeSantis in Florida is a model that we want to replicate across the country. These individuals should never have been in our country to begin with.
It's not just Florida, either. The New York Post reports:
Noem spoke publicly after reports emerged that an influx of federal Border Patrol agents who had been assigned to round up illegal migrants in Chicago were set to leave and continue the Trump administration’s crackdown in other major cities.
While Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) are still expected to continue operations in Chicago, Illinois Democratic Gov. JB Pritzker hailed the development – calling President Trump “demented” Tuesday for targeting the Windy City in the first place.
Both Trump and DHS have maintained the Chicago operation, which began in September, had led to a huge drop in crime, including a 41% decline in robberies and a 35% drop in shootings.
In simple English: It's working.

The Post story doesn't give names, but it does give offenses, mug shots, and countries of origin of some of the dirtbags caught up in the sweep; although it doesn't state whether the offenses are convictions or arrests. These include:
- A Salvadoran national, sexual assault
- A Mexican national, incest with a minor
- A Cuban national, Homicide
- A Honduran national, domestic violence
Needless to say, these are people who never should have been in the United States in the first place. There's no place for such people here. We have enough of our home-grown goblins to deal with, without these people.
As for the Chicago operation, Governor Pritzker (D) hasn't been as cooperative as Governor DeSantis.

Noem ripped the Illinois governor Wednesday morning – insisting that Pritzker’s “personal attacks” were putting “his people in jeopardy each and every day.”
Governor Pritzker can bloviate all he likes, but immigration enforcement is a federal matter, and while he can bluster and shout, he can't stop the policy that the American people voted for. Our immigration laws are now being enforced after four years of neglect, illegal aliens are being repatriated, and as we see in the wonderfully-named "Operation Dirtbag," in many, many cases, our people will be safer for it.
